Chapter 2-THEY DON'T KNOW ABOUT US

(AUDREY'S POV)

I blinked as I tried to adjust my eyes from the blinding light.  I remember that I fainted and then I also recalled why I fainted.  The panic made me bolt upright again.

"Hey, you're finally awake."

I saw Harry sitting on a chair beside me. His dimples showing as his grin becomes wider.

"You gave me quite a heart attack out there."

He moved to the bed and sat beside me. I gave him a faint smile and looked around.  I can't help it.  My heart just can't stop looking for Lou.

I saw the other 3 guys at the further end of the room and they too,gave me a reassuring smile...Zayn, Niall and Liam. I do hope I remembered their names correctly.

I looked out the door and there, I saw who my heart is looking for.  Stupid masochistic heart!

He is talking to someone, a doctor I supposed judging from the stethoscope on the man's neck. Louis is unaware that I am looking at him because he is in deep conversation with the man. 

I can see that he has changed physically.  He has filled out in all the right places. Muscles are peeping through his shirt and her hair is longer now.  Gone is the lanky preppy boy he used to be.  His somewhat scruffy unshaven look add a lot to his sex appeal.  God! what am I thinking? How is it possible that he can still look more gorgeous than he already is?

He caught me looking at him and he smiled.  I think my cheeks just turned red and I averted my gaze back to Harry.

"....Zayn called the medics and that is why you're here."

I did not even notice that Harry is talking. 

"Uhm, thanks a lot." I chirped with gratitude to the four boys.

"Hey, babe. glad that you are awake already. " Lou chimed in as he walks to the other side of the bed.

I flinched at what he called me.  I had the aversion to that word eversince he disappeared out of the blue.  It just reminds me of him so much.

"Doctor said that you probably did not eat that is why you passed out."

He continued as he takes out the contents of the paperbag that he brought in.

"I bought you some sandwiches, salad with extra carrot serving and some tea.  Of course, I also bought a carrot cake." He unboxed the salad and tried to give me a piece of carrot.

"I also bought you an inhaler, just in case you get an asthma attack."

He still remembers my favorites, carrots and tea. My heart becomes more unstable upon realizing this. I really need to strap this crazy heart of mine to steady it.

"Okay, Tommo, spit it out.  How come you know all  these things about her?"

I saw Harry's eyes become little bit darker; more inquisitive.

"Uhm. we met in Hongkong a few months before X-factor."

X-Factor? The TV show?

I eyed Louis carefully, and I saw hesitation in his eyes to explain further.  My heart feels like it is being mangled forcefully.  He doesn't want to acknowledge me; what had happened between us.  I guess our marriage was just really business for him.

"He was my business partner." I looked straight into Lou's eyes as I answered Harry, "I needed someone to sub for me in the acoustic bar where I used to perform and he needed a place to stay out there so we made a deal. We sang and lived together "
