Chapter 14-FIREPROOF

(AUDREY POV)

Loe and Louis are singing loudly inside the toilet as they prepare for our visit to Doncaster. Louis said that we should probably head over there because his mom is already so excited to meet Loe and me.

Yes, we did admit that we still do love each other but we haven't really cleared what status we are in right now. We have agreed to keep everything under wrap first because of the complications in our situation. He has told me about Eleanor, the fans, and the lads. He has also asked about Harry and I did tell him that Harry is one of the closest friend I've got right now and has been a big part of my life since he left me before. Hearing how he is willing to sacrifice his own happiness for the sake of being there for Eleanor in her difficult times or the way he thinks of the boys' welfare helped me understand why he was able to step out of my door before.

"It isn't going to be nice, Babe. and I know it is unfair of me to keep what we have this way. It is not fair to you at all especially when I have to do all the publicities with Eleanor." He told me last night as we talk about things between us. "I always worry that I will end up hurting you again and again. There are a lot of times when I wish that I am just Louis Tomlinson again, just the regular lad from Doncaster, South Yorkshire, that you fell in love with in Hongkong. This fame is both a blessing and a curse."

"Sssshh." I hushed him by putting my finger on his lips." You worked damn hard for what you have now with the rest of the boys. I've known you before all this hype happened and I also know that this has been your dream from the very start, so don't hate it just because of me. I love you and in case you haven't noticed yet, I am willing to risk my heart on the table again for this. "I looked straight into his eyes and kissed his forehead softly.

"I am and will always be here with you whenever this pandemonium makes you crazy. I will be your calm in the storm. I will fight for what we have, because you Louis Tomlinson, the regular guy from Doncaster, is worth fighting for."

And with that he hugged me so tight again, "I LOOOOOVEEEE YOOOOU, AUDREY!" he screamed at the top of his lungs in the early hours of the morning.

"Yeah,Harry we are on our way. We got out as soon as Loe woke up. Yup, I am ok." I looked at Louis who is driving and trying to look focused but without letting go of my hand. "I think we are pretty close." I told the curly boy who has been calling me like every 10minutes.

I saw Lou's brow furrow a little under his aviators. He does this whenever he is beginning to get annoyed but trying hard to control it. In spite of the frown on his face, he looks like the perfect male specimen eventhough he is wearing my headband yet again, a black Adidas hoodie and sweatpants. He and Loe almost have the same outfit today. Loe insisted on wearing a hoodie too because "Dadee it twearing a hoodee!". I smiled as I look at my boy who is sleeping strapped to the backseat. "Daddy's Boy " indeed.

"Hey, Sasssy bloke."I kissed Lou cheeks and finally a smile replaced his frown.

He brought my hand to his lips, "You just know what to do always to make me feel at ease "

I rolled my eyes at him, "Nobody knows you,Baby, the way I do."

I chuckled borrowing a line from the song we wrote together when we were still in HK.

"Nobody loves you Baby, the way I do." He answered back with a grin that brightened his whole face.
