(AUDREY POV)

I woke up to find two sets of piercing blue eyes staring at me.  Their eyes are filled with worry and concern.

"How are you,Babe?" Lou caressed my hand,  his voice seems raspy from crying.

"I'm great." I touched his face and smiled,"everything is still intact, and I am as strong as a bull."

He looked at me with deep sadness in his eyes.  What is that I see in his blue orbs? Guilt? Pain? No, this is not right.

"Really, I am fffi.."

"No.don't say your fine one more time because I know you are not." He said calmly but sternly.

"You were badly hurt Audrey, and all because of me.I may have been there but I was bloody useless."

I knew it.  I know that he will blame himself for this.  His tears are now continuously flowing down his cheeks.

"Boobear, It is not your fault." I managed to sit down though my body is still aching. I want to put my arms around Lou to comfort him, but my body still hurts a little.

I'm not really sure about what happened at all.  All I remember is that When I heard a chorus of girls calling Lou's name, I attempted to run to them as fast as I can.  But I got caught in the stampede and the next thing I know is that I was on the floor and all the people were either stepping on me or pushing me.  I tried to stand up again but I panicked when I couldn't see Lou and Loe. I passed out afterwards.

"It is my fault.  I shouldn't have brought you and Loe there."

That's it! I hugged him so tight in spite of my physical pain.  I can't stand it when Lou is like this.

"Look at me Lou." I held his chin up so that I can stare into his ocean-like eyes deeply,"I am ok.  I don't regret going out to the park with you.  Loe and I had a ball watching you copy superman, didn't we Loe?"

"My Dadeeee it tuperman!" Loe nodded his head in agreement.

Lou smiled but I feel that there is something wrong with his smile. I guess there are no words that I can say that can lessen his grief.

"I need to drop Lou at the daycare today. Will you be alright alone for a while?" I saw concern written all over his face.

"Yep," I assured him popping the p.

He kissed my forehead, "I'll be back as soon as I can, love."

(LOUIS POV)

I try to brush the feeling of guilt aside.  I know Audrey is worried over this guilt but still, I just can't deny to myself  the fact that I am the cause of her being hurt.  It has been several days since she was discharged from the hospital yet that guilt still consumes me.

I know Audrey has been sensing this and I think she got it the wrong way.  I had to assure her that I still love her.  How can she think that?  That will never happen.  She still hasn't realized that I breathe because of her.

"Can I see this?" I pointed to a simple platinum band with a big diamond at the center.

"Sure, sir." the lady smiled at me.  Luckily, I am the only person here at Tiffany's. I pulled my hoodie closer to my face, just in case.

"Here you go, Sir. Your girlfriend will.be very happy."

"Thank you." I said respectfully as I examine the ring closer.  The diamond sparkles as the light hits its surface.  It is beautiful and will fit my Audrey perfectly.
