Chapter 26-WHY DON'T WE GO THERE?

(AUDREY POV)

"Your Louis has quite a temper, huh. I bet you didn't tell him about my sexual orientation, right?" Rob teased me on the way to the party.

I pouted, "i don't think it matters or it's his business at all. We are separated. He cheated on me." I searched through the songs in his car's player and settled for 'the heart wants what it wants' by Selena.

"Of course it matters, especially when he is about to strangle me. I thought I won't make it out of your flat alive." He laughed out loud. "but he looks so fit when he is angry and jealous. Too bad I am taken."

I giggled. Rob is already engaged to Marcus who owns the club we will be going to. They are getting married in France this coming fall.

"What exactly did he tell you before we went out?" I know that Lou whispered something to him right before we headed out.

"SHE IS MINE, ONLY MINE." Rob uttered, imitating Lou's serious voice.

"I'm not his." I said rather annoyed. We aren't together anymore and yet Lou is still imposing that I am his when he is the one I found with another girl. Talk about double standards!

"I CAN GO OUT WITH WHOEVER I WANT TO GO OUT WITH!"

Rob raised his eyebrows and cackled, "Baby, you can rant all you want and wear your rebel clothes but it is as clear as day that you are his and he is yours. The way you look at each other, ugh! Makes me wanna vomit" He smiled, "The two of you look so in love in spite of th space you are blabbing about. both of you are so whipped, honey!"

I don't really know how to answer that because I am aware that it is quite true. No matter how much I'm saying that I want the space between us, my heart and my body say otherwise.

I want to take it slow this time. Everything is always fast tracked and contradicting between us. We got married even before we really knew each other, we had a son even before we admitted that we fell in love with one another, we got divorced but we moved in together afterwards.

"You are exactly this song you arelistening to. You just won't be able to give him up just like that because he is the only one who makes you feel alive, doesn't he? Your heart wants what it wants. Sugar!" Rob continued to ramble and honestly, I want to slam his head so he will stop babbling. His words are just right on spot.

We arrived at the club and headed straight to Marcus' table. Rob told his partner that 2 members of One Direction are coming and one of the Little Mix girls too. Marcus seemed pleased but then he called his head guard to alert them that they need to tighten their security more. Sparks is known for being one of the most exclusive and private club here in Hongkong but then who knows? You can never be  more careful.

I had some shots of vodka citron to rid myself of the tension I felt with Louis around. I can't control myself when I am around him and he knows it. He knows it very well, that is why he is so confident about coming here and claiming me again. Arrogant arse! He is the one who cheated and yet I am the one jumpy and tense whenever he is around.

This madness has to stop. I just need control. My body and heart should learn to listen my brain and not go haywire whenever Louis is around.

Yeah, say that when he is not running his fingers on your arms or whispering those sweet nothings in your ear!

Hopeless, Audrey! You are really hopeless. I talked to my pathetic self as I take another shot of the hot citron liquid, burning my throat and clouding my mind at the same time.

Zayn and Perrie took about another 20 minutes to finish donning themselves. I was getting rather impatient at them. Auds told Perrie that we can use Tommo the maserati to get to Sparks.
