"Matt..hey, what're you doing out here? Lunch is almost over.." I chuckled.
"I had to grab my football gear back at home..what were you and Jon doing?" He questioned.
"I was interviewing him for my article. I wanted to get a non biased student in there, and Jon offered. It was totally last minute, I swear." I explained.
"Well..for the sake of the paper, I know you only had good intentions. But someone like Jon.." He trailed.
"Someone like Jon? What do you mean by that?" I scoffed.
"I just mean his reputation precedes him as a player, an asshole who cares for nothing or no one but himself. So I'm just warning you, be careful." Matt shrugged.
"T-Thanks for the heads up..I guess." I mumbled as we headed inside.
"So what're your plans after school and the paper?" He wondered.
"I'm editing Grace and Jacob's interviews, and going to start to write my English poem. Then probably start my article." I explain.
"No rest for the wicked, huh?" He teased.
"Not when you really want to be on the paper, no." I smirked.
"Well, maybe we can hang or do something after school, I don't have practice." Matt said.
"Yeah, that'd be nice. Ya know, there's one place I haven't visited yet." I gasped, as a lightbulb went off in my head.
"What's that?"

"The..library." Matt said, pulling up in front of the building.
"Yes the library! Which has four floors!" I say excitedly. "Have you EVER been here?!"
"Can't say I have..maybe when I was little." Matt revealed. "But I'm happy it's new for both of us."
"I figured we can both work on our articles, maybe proof read each other's too.." I suggested.
"Perfect, I'm constantly making typos so this will be good." He laughed.
"Glad to be of service." I playfully bow before walking in.
We explored the rows and rows of endless books, before finding a private workspace. We set up our laptops and Matt grabbed us coffees from the Starbucks set up on the first floor.
"I was thinking of making a collage of photos through the four years, what do you think? Does that scream creativity to you or what?" Matt asked.
"It screams..Pinterest, but I think it'll be nice for the paper." I joked.
"My Pinterest account has come very handy." Matt smirked, typing away.
"I wonder what the other applicants are writing about.." I trailed.
"Wellll...a few guys on the team know them personally, I could ask, get you some info." Matt offered.
"You'd do that for me? Be my own little spy?" I teased.
"Of course. I'm wearing all black, so this is going good already." He chuckled.
"Your the best!" I squealed, pulling him in a hug.
"Say it again," He pulled his phone out and hit record. "Just for future reference."
"Oh shut it! I take it back!" I giggled.

After Matt dropped me off, I did my homework until dinner time. Jacob was out with Grace, so it would just be me and Aunt Kathie..
