Kathie was a bit reluctant getting us separate rooms, so she had me and Olivia in one, and Matt with Jacob. Her and Grace were staying together, which I'm sure was to minimize arguments erupting this weekend.
I showered and changed before plopping on the bed. I figured it would take Olivia a while to get ready.
After she showered, she emerged from the bathroom in a hot pink bathrobe. "Do you love him?"
"What?" I questioned, setting my phone down.
"Do. You. Love. Him." She repeated slowly.
"N-No of course not! I mean, you and him are together," I found myself slightly rambling due to being put on the spot.
"What are you talking about Astrid? You know I'm asking about Matt right?" Olivia asked.
"O-Oh, I know that!" I felt my cheeks flush red. "And, I don't know yet. I-I have feelings for him of course...can I ask why your asking?"
"I've never been in a serious relationship like this before!" She whined, "I wanted to see how it felt when you knew you were in love. Maybe I am with Jon."
"It's not really my place to say," I shrugged. "Only you know how you feel."
"Should I just tell him then? At dinner tonight?" She bit her lip.
Just as I was about to say yes, the door opened, revealing Kathie and Matt.
"We're getting hungry and found a nice restaurant a few blocks away." Kathie said.
"Great, I could use some food," I sighed, holding my stomach which was growling.
"You guys have fun slumming it in a dirty diner, I'm going to be having a nice three course candlelit meal with Jon.." Olivia swooned.
"Candlelit dinner? We're talking about the same Jon right?" Matt chuckled.
"You said he planned this dinner, dear?" Kathie questioned.
"Well, not exactly..I made the reservation..but he wanted to go out to dinner!" Olivia corrected.
"I'm sure you'll have a nice time.." I assured. "We'll leave you to get ready, then."
"Thanks! And, I'll be spending the night at Jon's room, so don't wait up." She winked.
"And That is definitely our cue," Matt grimaced, heading towards the door once more.
I waved goodbye to Olivia before following Kathie out.
Jon was just getting off the elevator as we approached it. He was dressed in sweats and a black hoodie with sweat stains all over.
"Hey guys..remind me why I hired a personal trainer?" He said in between breaths.
We all took one look at him and burst out laughing.
"What's so funny?" Jon wondered, looking between us all.
"Hey, you have fun tonight, all right man?" Matt patted his back before walking ahead.
"Can someone explain what's going on?" Jon grumbled, but we all ignored his questions and got in the elevator.
"Boy, he's in for a surprise." Kathie giggled as we headed down.

"I-I k-know he probably didn't mean it, b-but it hurt m-my feelings.." I heard Olivia cry into the phone.
I sat up in bed and turned the lamp on, grabbing her attention. "What is going on?"
"Hold on, I'll call back." She said before hanging up.
