I took a deep breath as I opened my laptop. After arriving back home I was finally going to write my article.
The subject being the play. Since it would be taking up most of my time in the next month.
Also in a few weeks was Halloween, which Olivia had already reminded me I was invited to her annual party.
I typed for most of the night, finally finishing around 3am. At that point, I found it pointless to sleep.
So I went downstairs and turned the TV on, landing on a rerun episode of Full House.
"Want some popcorn?" Jacob asked, startling me.
"Geez!" I gasped, "Why are you down here?!"
"Couldn't sleep, and I'm assuming you couldn't either." He shrugged, taking a seat beside me. "I guess I'm just feeling anxious."
"About?" I inquired.
"It sounds dramatic but, everything. Basketball tryouts this week, the play rehearsals, and the student presidency. That has been the cause of all this drama," He sighed.
"I hate to break it to ya, but the drama has been happening long before the election. I think Grace and Olivia have always had negative feelings towards one another, and they just blew up." I explained.
"Maybe, but still. I feel like it's ruined my friendship with Matt, I mean we've been friends since kindergarten. And the fact that this is what tore us apart, it sucks." He whispered.
"You guys will work it out," I assured. "It would help if you talked instead of argued, though."
"Yeah, I bet." He chuckled to himself.
"At least let's make a deal to get through this play, with no drama between us. It sucks enough having to perform for the first time." I stuck my hand out.
"Deal. I can't speak for anyone else but I want to get this over with," Jacob smirked, shaking hands with me.
"Jesse's my favorite character," He winked, pointing at the TV.
"Shocker," I laughed.
"What's that supposed to mean?!" He said jokingly, throwing popcorn at me.
We both laughed, and it made me happy to be able to do things like this with him again.

"Alright everyone! We're starting with the opening scene, where Mary is secretly walking through the town square, and runs into Will, who's making a shoe delivery." Max explained, telling us where to stand.
Jon and I stood a few feet from each other, and soon the scene began.
I kept my head down and began speed walking through, where I ran smack dab into Jon.
"Geez, watch out!" I grumbled, getting up and dusting myself off.
"I-I'm sorry ma'am, but you weren't looking where you was going," Will shrugged.
"So your blaming this on me?!" I asked shockingly. "Whatever, I have more important things to do."
"Maybe one of those things should be getting your shoes shined. They look a little dirty, ma'am." Will pointed down at my feet.
I scoffed, not saying another word, but pushing him aside and continuing to walk away.
"That was..GREAT!" Max clapped excitedly. "Obviously there's a few kinks to work out, but overall, better than I expected. You and Jon have some chemistry that makes things work smoother."
