"Watch, now he's gonna electrocute Marko!" I gasped, pointing eagerly to the TV.
Matt and I were watching 'Taken' because he's never seen it surprisingly, so I Of course had to be the first to show him it.
"Your giving everything away.." he reminded.
"Sorry, I get excited.." I smirked, cuddling into him more.
As we snacked on our popcorn, Jacob ran down the stairs followed by Grace.
"Guess whattttttt?!" He exclaimed.
"What?" I questioned, pausing the movie.
"I'm running for senior class president!" Grace announced.
"Oh wow..congrats!" Matt and I smiled. "Is Jacob Vice President?"
"Of course, I wouldn't want anybody else.." Grace winked.
"Well I can pull off a suit and tie pretty nicely.." Jacob laughed.
"I'm announcing it to the school on Monday, so I was thinking maybe the paper could put an ad out on the cover?" Grace suggested.
"Yeah, I'll run it by Max, but I'm sure he wouldn't mind." I shrugged.
"Your the best Astrid!" She brought me in a hug.
"I wouldn't say that yet, guys." Kathie said, approaching us. "Apparently Astrid And Jon have been skipping detention.."
That was true. Instead of going this week, we went to the diner and ate chili fries then he dropped me off at home.
But Matt didn't know that.
"You've been skipping? With Jon?!" Matt turned to me.
Jacob and Grace quietly went back upstairs, sensing the tension.
"Yes..I have.." I mutter. "But we've only gone to the diner for a snack, then he drops me off here."
Matt turned to Kathie now, "This is your fault for not making sure she went! Nobody can be trusted when their around Jon!"
"Hey, stop it! Jon has done nothing wrong, he didn't force me to go, I went willingly!" I screamed. "It's not a big deal, I'm going to Weller's office on Monday."
"You better, or there will be serious consequences." Kathie snapped. "Matt, I think it's time you went home. You'll see Astrid in Monday."
He scoffed, "Yeah, it is better if I leave."
He got up and slammed the door on his way out.
Kathie just shook her head at me before leaving.
I sighed, looking at the TV, unpausing the movie.
"At least I'll always have you, Liam Neeson."

The rest of the weekend was spent busily finishing my article about how Cincinnati changed my life, my take on perspectives and how they can open your eyes to getting re inspired.
You could say it was paying a little homage to Jon, I mean, I was pretty passionate about this issue, and it was all thanks to him.
Which is why Monday morning I waited outside the school for him to show up.
I saw him pull in his regular parking spot all the way in the back, grab his bag and start walking towards me.
I pulled a copy of the article out of my bag and waited nervously.
"Hey Astrid, whatcha got there?" He wondered.
"It's actually the first copy of my article..I wanted you to be the first to read it, considering everything.." I explained, handing it to him.
