There are new character point of view banners. I'm not sure if these are the ones I really want for the character because this is the first time I've tried to make these but oh well. Also, if you see that black bar underneath the picture, it won't go away and I don't know why.

Also, this isn't the best chapter. It's leaning towards more of a filler chapter. I wish I could make it better but I've been busy and school goes back in tomorrow.

I could feel the skin on my face becoming dry from the tears drying onto my skin.  I could feel the salt crusting and yet, despite it being slightly uncomfortable, I was no way going anywhere to rinse it off. My nerves refrained me from moving from my position, keeping me as close as possible to my mate. I needed the reinsurance that she was fine, that she was still there.

In my arms, she was safe. The clothing she wore carried my scent, marking he as mine even further, soothing my wolf.   Though, I could only focus on the coolness of her skin, reminding of the dangerous situation she was just in. One that could have taken her life, one that could have taken her from me just as it has already taken another. Pulling her closer, I rubbed away the coolness of her legs with my hands, desperate to rid of her skin the memory.

My eyes stayed on her face, taking in everything it was trying to convey to me. Her words, as reassuring as they are, never told me for the full story. They only would ever tell me things to keep me from getting upset, never telling me the full truth. Her face told me everything, every emotion, every reaction. It was one thing she hasn't learned to hide from me yet, which I was greatly thankful for.

At the moment, she seemed to be at peace. Her face was lax, adorned with a small smile as she curled into my chest. Her eyes were focused on the movie she was fascinated by. It was quite adorable watching her get excited over Disney and Pixar movies but I couldn't blame her, they truly are the best movies.

I traced my fingers over her face, going over the invisible paths I've already made. I marveled over her supple skin and the gentle smile I was rewarded with from my actions. She sighed and curled further into me when I moved my fingers from her face to her hair, running through it. Her eyes became unfocused and glazed over, no longer paying attention to her movie.

"Rebecca is on her way back. She said that she needs to speak with you in private." I sighed. Most of our 'private' conversation ended up with her either insulting a lot of people, pushing herself on to me and or it turning into a screaming of me trying to get her to leave.

"She won't be like that anymore." Malia assured me as if she were reading my mind. "I promise."

"I have no enjoyed any of my conversations with her for the past few months, maybe even longer."

"I know, but that won't be happening any longer." Pausing, I thought for a few moments, utterly perplexed by the situation.

"How did she even find you, anyway? Why would even be outside of the pack territory?" Grabbing my hand, she played with my fingers, not meeting my eyes.

"I think that will be one of the things you guys will be speaking about." She stayed very vague, confirming what I had already expecting. Malia knew why but I needed to know straight from Rebecca before making any accusations. We stayed silent after that, just sitting together enjoying the movie and each others' company.

I didn't enjoying keeping things away from him. My heart felt heavy and I felt a little bit sick but I knew that Rebecca needed to tell him herself. It was hard to keep myself still, constantly shift positions or finding something to play with. It was as if my body was trying force the confession out of me and it was hard to keep it in.

"I'm almost there" Rebecca informed me.

The air suddenly turned still and Orion tensed behind me, letting out a low warning growl. Something was definitely wrong and we could both sense it. Standing up from the couch, Orion's followed my actions. Walking towards the door, Orion pushed me behind him, growling at the door again.

"He is out there." His voice was low, portraying all of the anger he had.

"But Rebecca is out there."

"I know she is. She brought him with her."

"We only want to talk. He promised that he won't provoke anything."

"Let's just go see what they want." I said, trying to walk around him.

"No." He spoke loudly, clearly getting his point across, even block my path to the door with his arm. "He's hurt you enough already. You will be staying behind me." Opening the door and walking out, I followed closely behind him.

"Malia-" Icarus began, taking a step in my direction, making Orion voice his opinion on the matter.

"Keep your distance."

"Malia, I'm sorry, I-I didn't know-"

"I know." I said, taking a step to the side so we could see each other. "I know and it's okay. I forgive you."

"It's not okay." Both Orion and Icarus spoke at the same time.

"I knew that dad would lie all the time, to other people but I didn't think that he would lie to me, his own son." I could the true sadness and guilt in his eyes, and I could relate to that.

"Nobody expects to be betrayed by those close to you, especially by family." He nodded his head in agreement. "I had no idea I had family until the first time I saw you. Even then, I though you were my brother even though you are actually my cousin."

"I-I know. Rebecca told me everything." He said, giving a small gesturing to the blonde standing next to him. "I grew up thinking you were the sister who betrayed me but you're actually my cousin who was the one getting betrayed." His eyes actually began to tear up.

"I had no idea that he did that to you." He tried to take another step towards me.

"If you even so much as breath on her I will kill you."

"I'm not going to hurt her."

"You already have." Orion shot back.

"Orion, it's fine." I said taking a step forward myself. I could see Orion daring me to stop but I kept going.

"Malia-" I kept going until I was standing directly in front of Icarus. Spreading my arms, I wrapped them around his waist, resting my head by his collar bone. Soon after, he wrapped me up in his own arms.

"I'm sorry. I'm so so sorry." He whispered into my ear, pulling me closer.
