tobi's pov

the walk to the liquor store was long and boring. i had enjoyed having stephany around because i liked the company. when i'd finally reached the sidemen house i was glad.

i knocked on the door. freya opened it and let me in.

"hey guys i'm back where do you want the beer?" i shout to the guys

"just bring it here! we're in the lounge!" simon answers

i walk over to the lounge and place the beers on a nearby table. I look around the room to see that nothing has really changed since i left. all the guys are still there in the same seats. there is one long couch that can fit about 5 people with a few chairs and beanbags scattered around the room. harry, vik, jj, and ethan all sit on the couch while simon, calfreezy, josh, will, and chip all sit in either a beanbag or chair. 

all the girls, talia, freya, gee, and emily, are all in a seperate room i assume. knowing them they probably just wanted to get away from the loud screams after one of the guys get shot or something. honestly i cant blame them, we do get pretty noisy during game night. it's basically this big competition to see which group is better at video games, the house or the rest. so far its too close to tell we're pretty evenly matched.

"took you long enough." josh says

"yeah sorry about that," i say with a smile

"speaking of, what took you so long anyway?" harry asks

"well i got a little distracted-" i begin to respond 

"you call 45 minutes late a "little" distraction?!" cal replies in shock

i chuckle "ok i guess it wasn't little. anyway, i saw someone sitting on a bench crying so i decided to ask if they were ok." i say with a shrug. "it was really no big deal."

"who was the person you helped? are they feeling better now?" vik asked obviously very interested in who this person is

"well we went out to that café not to far from here and she's fine now at least i hope so. she ordered a milkshake and we kinda talked and laughed for a bit. then i got the call from you guys and rushed out to get the beers." i reply

obviously something i said was funny because after i finished everyone had a big grin on their face.

"im sorry am i hearing things or did tobi say she."jj asks

"nope its not just you jj because i heard it to. did our tobi meet a ladie friend?" simon asks with the biggest smirk

"yeah but she's just that, a friend, nothing more nothing less." i say feeling my face get warm

"are you guys done interrogating me because i would love to get back to playing videogames?" i say hoping the answer to my question is yes

"yeah, sure..." cal responds while giving me glare as if trying to look into my soul and find out my deepest secrets.

mine has actually been pretty good

anyway lets talk about the story. this chapter has been rewriten so many times. i couldn't decide if i wanted tobi to lie about meeting stephany or tell the truth. i obviously decided on tell the truth and i'd also been debating on why tobi should or should not have lied to his friends.

in the end, i decided it was best for tobi to tell the truth no matter the reason because in real life tobi is just a very trustworthy guy. he doesnt look or act like the type of person to lie to his bestfriends. which is one of the main reasons i love him so much.
