stephany's pov
the next morning tobi was missing from his spot next to me on the sofa. i quickly check my phone and find out that it isn't exactly the morning and it's actually almost 2pm.
reluctantly, i get up from my comfortable spot on the couch and fix myself a bowl of coco pops, it's the only cereal tobi has.
as i wonder around the flat i notice light coming from tobi's door. to avoid being rude i knock, lightly but loud enough for him to hear, then i get a come in.
as i enter tobi's room i can see his bed made and his small figure sat in front of his dear with headphones on. the best assumption i can make is he's either filming a youtube video or streaming and personally i really hope it's not the latter.
tobi's the first to speak "hey steph, the guys and i decided to play a bit of gta! hope we didn't wake you."
i quickly raise both hands and begin shaking them left to right "no you're fine i woke up on my own accord."
"that's great i'm happy you got some rest." tobi says as giddy then ever.
"do you wanna say hi to josh, vik, and ethan?" he continues
"yeah of course!"
i make my way towards tobi's desk and he hands me his headphones. as i stand next to tobi's chair i can see on the screen a race hasn't started yet and they're just on a loading screen.
i quickly put the headphones on and say into the mic "hey guys, how are you?"
"hey steph i'm doing fine had a great time last night and from the looks of it you did too if you're just waking up now." josh says with a laugh
"yeah i hope tobi's been a good host" simon adds
"he's been amazing guys," i respond with a chuckle
"anyways i'd hate to stop your filming anymore have fun!"
i take off the headphones and hand them to tobi. "you better win and if you don't i'll never let you live it down." i smile at tobi
he just laughs and says of course
as i'm walking back towards the kitchen to wash out my dishes i get a call from evie.
of course i answer it.
"you must have stayed the night at mr milkshake because you're definitely not at my flat" evie says
i can almost see her smug face through the phone
"yes i stayed the night,"
"hm"
"but it's not what you're thinking!" i quickly finish
"so nothing happened last night?" evie the disappointment in her voice peaking through
"i wouldn't exactly say nothing happened..." i respond my voice trailing off a little towards the end
"WHAT TO YOU MEAN TELL ME MORE!" evie yells her excitement practically radiating through the phone.
so, per evie's request i tell her everything, she is my best friend after all.
once i finally finish the story she yells "YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE!"
after she says that i feel an immense amount of heat rush to my face.
"wow i can see your blushing and we're not even on facetime!" evie says again probably with a smug smile.
just as evie finished her sentence i hear tobi's voice "hey again steph!"
"alright e i'll call you back" i say quickly
"HOLD UP WAIT YOU CANT HANG UP YET-"
"what's up tobi?" i ask making my way towards the sofa and taking a seat.
"sorry was i interrupting something important? i just wanted to talk about last night"
