ch 1: my way

past time

"lulu! finally you're here!" a little girl screamed and ran into her arms,

"i was just using the washroom, jisu." the girl named lulu giggled at her friend's reaction,

"i know but it took so long!" jisu giggled and they both sat on the carpet.

they both were currently at daycare and lemme tell you—their bond is unbreakable. they've been friends ever since they both met at the hospital. they were only newborns yet they cried with eachother. true friends are the ones who cry with you; i guess that was true ever since the beginning,

"oh lulu! did you watch the movie the princess and the frog?" jisu asked and anticipated for her answer,

"no, not yet. my mommy said there's very inappropriate scenes. but i'm gonna watch it secretly with my brother!" lulu giggled.

"oh.. but i heard that if you kiss a frog, your prince will appear."

"my prince will appear?" lulu asked once more,

"yeah! i haven't tried it, but whenever i do it, it just slips out of my hand." jisu pouted and fiddled with her smol fingers,

jisu continued to babble about whatever, whereas lulu kept thinking about having a prince. maybe she could be a real princess!

daycare time ended and as she was waiting for her mom to pick her up, she walked to a nearby park just next to the daycare. the daycare workers didn't notice she was gone so she took the chance and ran to the pond to go frog hunting.

lulu crouched down and found a frog but the frog kept jumping and jumping. jisu got her sleeves wet because she kept on dipping her arms into the pond to try and catch the frog,

"if you don't listen to me you lil' frog, we'll have to do it my way." she smirked and try to catch hold of the frog aggressively.

after quadrillion attempts, she was able to get hold of the frog, and held the frog up to her face.

"i heard that if you kiss a frog, your prince will appear." those thoughts kept swimming around her head.

the little girl held the frog and kissed it.

she closed her eyes and smiled, thinking that her prince appeared,

"eww! you kissed a frog!"

lulu opened her eyes and her smile faltered when she saw a boy around her age with a disgusted look on his face,

"are you my prince?"

"prince? you don't deserve a prince, your disgusting!" he laughed and then felt pain at his lower body.

lulu kicked his shin,

"you deserved that you ungrateful poo."
