Running relentlessly without rest holding very little intel of the area, we try our utmost best in searching for the temple. As dirt colours our clothing, Jang Mi, for whatever reason she has, believes despite the surrounding rubble, the temple will still be intact. With her sword in hand, still stained with dark blood; it almost burns.

"Tsk, where is it?!"

Knowing fair well that we're fighting against time, the more I got aggravated. However, it wasn't long until Reiguma spoke up as we change directions in our pursuit. Hidden away in the forestry, a large temple left unscathed, the architecture is surely beyond the buildings in Krydon, even the Lord's Palace pales in comparison, there's just something about it. At such a sight of an overbearing building, I was left in awe for a moment as we then enter and begin scouring the area. Looking for anything that might help point us the way, it wasn't long before we entered a room which housed many books upon shelves.

"These books... they're a lot duller in appearance compared to Krydons..."

Running my finger across the spines of the books against the shelves, the numbers begin to overwhelm me.

"Kiroo, what do we do? There's so many of them..."

Simply gazing at them won't get us anywhere, like with any other task, we can slowly chip away at it until it's complete. Though we simply don't have the leisure to pick up every single book and browse the contents. Even with the help of a rough translation I found in the city's library, we may have bitten off more than we can chew.

"We just need to get started."

"R-Right, we just need to start. Leave it to me, Kiro!"

...

One thing that all the books share in common, is that they're all handwritten. The tools used resembles a feathered pen, dipped in black ink. Regardless, I could only understand brief sections of these books. But ultimately none of them even have the word 'demon' in them or anything relating to them. They're all appear to be relating to medical procedures; herbal concoctions and plant analysis.

"Reiguma, let's check elsewhere."

"E-Ehh? Why?"

Positioned against the side of the shelf, she had numerous books stacked on top of another as she browses through each one.

"This temple may have sections dedicated to what they want to preserve."

"So... we're in the wrong one?"

Placing the book down, she hurriedly attempts to fit the books back into the shelves, but ultimately decides not to.

Keep the workshop clean, place books back to where they belong and other things where you found them. I guess she has been paying attention.

"If all goes accordingly, we can come back to clean up the mess we made after saving Jang Mi."

"Mm."

Leaving the room, we proceed further into the temple whilst scanning our surroundings. We pass by numerous rooms which we had to stop and cross reference our little guide for translations, but ultimately none of them matched what we're looking for.

It was only until we stumbled upon a strange passage through a banner of some kind thanks to Reiguma. She detected a distinct aura that didn't match the overall corridor; an inexplainable sensation is what she called it.

Whilst pondering where it may lead to as we poke our heads in our curiosity gets the best of us we proceed further in. With no light to guide us other than the fire above Reiguma's hand, I stay close behind her.
