Part 46

(Your POV) 

"You need a graduation dress! Your dresses are so old and ugly!" Courtney yelled as she looked through my closet.

"Wow thanks." I said

"Seriously, we need to buy a new dress." she said as she came out. "Is it really necessary to buy a new dress for a graduation?" I asked

"YES IT'S NECESSARY. YOU GOT AN HONOR ROLE!' she yelled

She held a dress up and said, "This looks pretty descent." then she looked at it, "Actually no." as she tossed the dress on the floor. 

"You are going to pick those up and fix my closet." I said

"Yeah go to a mall and buy something" she said

"I'm too lazy..." I whined, as I lie down on my bed.

"You know what, we will go there right now." she said, closing my closet.

She pulled me out of my bed and she brought some money. The next thing I knew, I was in her car as she blasted her speakers with the song "Happy Little Pill" by Troye Sivan. 

"Alright. You better pick a really nice dress. I'll do the picking and you do the changing okay?" she said as she parked the car.

I sighed and said "Whatever you say..." 

I went out of the car and went inside the mall.

Sometimes, I hate the mall cause I get really tired and it gets really boring.

"What are you waiting for? Go to the dress store!" Courtney said, pushing me.

We are now in a shop full of dresses. Courtney forced me to sit down as she picked up some dresses. 

My phone started ringing and it was from Greyson.

"_______? I need to tell you something." 

"Well hello to you too. What's up?" 

"I'm sorry...but I can't go.. My manager won't let me and trust me, I tried convincing him and-"

"No, it's okay. I understand. I know you're busy and I'm fine with that." 

"No, it's not okay. I'm going to miss your graduation."

I sighed and said, "It's okay Greyson. Thank you though" 

"I'm sorry ______. I'll deliver some flowers okay?" 

"Sure, I would like those." I said with a smile on my face.

"I love you.."

"I love you too" 

"I gotta go okay? I'll talk to you later." he said

"Sure, talk to you later" I said

We hung up and I looked down on my phone.

Well, he won't be coming after all. Oh well.

"_______, here, try them on!" Courtney said, holding 12 dresses.

"You're joking..." I said

"Oh no.." she giggled. "Just go and try them on!"

I grabbed three dresses and went to the change room. 

Okay first dress is floral. Nah..

Second dress is all black and a bow on the back. Sure. 

Third dress is a pink dress. Nope.

"Courtney, I'm gonna take the second dress" 

"I have more here..." 

I rolled my eyes as she hands me more dresses. 

In the end, we decided that we will buy a dark blue dress with a silver little bow. 

"Now that the dress is done. Let's get some shoes!" she squealed.

"I only agreed on clothing."

"Oh come on, you need shoes for that." she said

She dragged me to a shoe store full of heels.

"I am not wearing heels. I can't walk in them!" 

"Then we'll buy those short ones" 

She got me a navy blue heels and it fits really good. Plus, it was comfortable. 

"Shoes, done. Dress, done." 

"Yea thanks for buying me these stuff" I said as I smiled

"You're welcome! That's my graduation gift for you." she said

On the way home, I was quiet. Really quiet.

"Why are you so quiet?" she asked

"Oh nothing... just tired." I said.

"If you say so.." 

I went upstairs with the shopping bags and took a long nap.
