My Fanfic Pet Peeves (rant)

Also that header pic is a screenshot from a FaceTime with my friend when I read a 5 paragraph description of a British folk-pop band from the 80s-00s that was accidentally put under MY BOY James's name in Apple. Get your life together @ Apple.

Ok, I've been trying to find some good quality oneus fics, but two things always stop me from continuing them.

1) the don't skip a paragraph when the dialogue changes person. Seeing "Youngjo said, 'Hi.' 'Hi,' Keonhee responded" is the stupidest thing ever. No one ever puts two quotes next to each other like that there's always a description in between. There's a reason why we skip lines for dialogue so it doesn't look clumped together.

2) they write their stage names instead of their real names. If Keonhee was thinking about where Youngjo is he's not gonna think, "Wow, I wonder if RAVN went to the studio?" He's gonna think "Youngjo." Plus, a stage name is just that, for the stage. If you use it off-stage it almost dehumanizes them. They have lives off-stage, RAVN and Youngjo lead different lives. And sure, we probably won't ever meet the "real" Youngjo unless we personally meet/know him outside of his idol life. But, please don't call them their stage names off-stage unless they specified, it sounds weird and impersonal.
