Where My Tee At??? (Justin Park Rant)

Not we/us related but important if you like Justin Park and were thinking of buying his Places Like Home merch. Otherwise, skip if you want.

Ok so first some background:

On December 13, 2018 I went to an Amber Liu concert. Her guest, Justin Park, was selling merch alongside Amber. I, a stan, bought one of his PLH tees. However, when I tried it on at home, it was too small. The workers said it was oversized, and there was nowhere to try it on at the venue, so I bought the tee in my usual size. But, it was too small.

I was kinda upset, but I thought maybe I can put up with it. Later, Justin announced he was selling his merch online. I jumped on the opportunity to buy a larger shirt. In fact, he was selling an exclusive white version of the tee. I bought that one and waited for it to arrive.

Now the real rant:

I bought the tee on January 13, 2019. I waited for a while, but I never got an email saying my order shipped like I expected I'd get. I just thought maybe they don't do that. Keep in mind, the transaction was already made and I was down $30.

On February 4, 2019 I (and 4 others I know of linked in the group email) received an email saying that there was a manufacturing mishap with the tees and that my order would be refunded. I waited a few days, but never got a refund.

February 7, I emailed Peter Rocks (under company missterxrocks, partner to 5A), who had sent me the email regarding my supposed refund. I asked when I would receive my refund. I've been waiting since then and haven't received a reply or refund.

Today, February 11, I emailed Edward Shin, who was linked in the email as well, and asked the same thing. I haven't received a response, but it's still early. I'll keep you updated.

So, I'd advise anyone considering buying PLH merch to refrain from doing so. I believe it's a scam. It's really upsetting to know that they just stole my money, especially because I met the man behind the design. Also the fact that he's still promoting the online merch.

This is NOT Justin's fault, but his merch team's under the company, 5A Label. Please do not send any hate his way. If anyone knows about anyone who has yet to receive an order/refund too, or knows how to get a refund via PayPal (my purchase was made through this), please comment.

Hopefully, I will get a refund soon. Wish me luck, I'm giving them 2-3 business days to get back to me. I will email every employee if I have to.

Side note: I'm hecka stressed tonight. I've gotta study, I have lots of hw to do, and my big tests are tomorrow (Tuesday). I also have a group project I'm trying to work on with my friend but she won't pick up. Haha I love stress.

Guess it's time to cry instead of sleep and sleep instead of eat!!! No but seriously I'm so fatigued, but I gotta put in at least another hour (it's currently 10:14pm).

UPDATE 2/12: I'm giving them both 3 business days to respond or refund me, and then I'm filing a claim via PayPal.

I also emailed the supposed others who bought the tee (it was a group email) to see if they got a refund either.

Let's see how this goes...

UPDATE 2/15: I ended up emailing the others who ordered and, surprise surprise, they haven't gotten one either. In fact, one had to email me on behalf of Peter to tell us they're "working on it." Talk about unprofessional. At this point, I don't care if I get my money or the tee, I just want this thing solved. 5A needs to get it together. I'm never buying from them again.
