Chapter 22: An ass?

Kim seok Jin's pov.

Lee so min bursted out of the house. Then I realized what I said. I wasn't paying attention as I was talking to my friends.
I ran outside the house taking my jacket.

I ran down the road in search of her. She was no where to be found.
"You have screwed up too bad this time Kim seok jin" I said to myself.
"Lee so min, so min, so min " I shouted out on top of my lungs.

Fear started taking over my body. It was midnight. Streets were silent and dark. I ran as fast as I could.
Suddenly I saw a small figure. "Lee SO min " I shouted.
She turned over and fell down on her knees. I ran at my full speed but she blacked out before I could reach her.

I lifted her after tying the jacket on her waist.
I walked back to my house.
The people who were there all had a shocked face.
"We are going. Let's go. Get out" Kim Jae hee whispered shouted at others while pushing them out of the house.
I didn't know what was on her mind but I couldn't care less. All I could care of was Lee SO min.

After everybody left I took Lee SO min to the bedroom and laid her on my bed.
I called my personal doctor to come as soon as possible.
After half an hour or so the doctor came and examined SO min.
"She fainted due to stress. I think she is suffering from stress anxiety. She'll be alright as I gave her a IV injection. She'll wake up soon. Call me again if anything happens" The doctor said.
I thanked him and went down to see him off.
I came back to the bedroom and sat beside her. I didn't want her to be alone when she wakes up.

Lee SO Min's pov.

I opened my eyes and tried to adapt my eyes to the light.
I felt hands on my waist. I turned my eyes to right and saw Kim seok Jin. My eyes bulged with shock. His face was too close . I could feel his hot breath on my face. I stare at his beautiful features for around 5 mins before I tried to sit up . But his hands grabbed my waist more tightly which made me fall on his chest.

"You still need rest. And you can go back to what you were doing. Staring at my handsome face" He said chuckling.
'He was awake' I thought feeling embarrassed.
"I wasn't starting at you. And 'handsome' my foot" I said coughing.
He just let out a chuckle.

"Why? " I asked after a minute of silence.
"What why? " He asked in confusion.
"Why am I  here? " I asked.
It's not that I didn't know why I was here. I knew I fainted. But why Kim seok Jin brought me to his house. I know he didn't care about me.
"Don't you remember. You fainted last night. " He said.
"So? " I said as soon as he finished his sentence.
"So I brought you to my house " He said.
"Why did you brought me to your house. Why didn't you left me there only. " I said.
"Because I care for you" He said in a soft voice.
"As if " I rolled my eyes and starting to sit up.
"Where are you going? " He asked in a concerned tone.
"None of your business " I said.

I started to grab my bag and shoes.
"Wait" He said while grabbing my wrist.
"Listen I'm sorry about yesterday. I didn't mean to hurt you...."
Before he could finish the sentence I cut him off." But you did".
"See I was to busy talking to my friends and I didn't pay attention to what you were saying. I really care about you" He said,  his eyes started to water.

'Is he about to cry because of me? ' I thought.
Before he starts crying I wanted to get out of this house.
"It doesn't matter anymore " I shouted.
I got out of the room and ran to the main door.
"Just fucking listen to me " I could hear him shout from upstairs. But I didn't care. I got out and hailed a taxi and went to home.

I reached home at 8 am. I wish there was no office today because I didn't want to see Kim seok Jin.

But I took a small shower and got ready. It is now a little cold in evenings so I wore wide pants.

I took a bus and got to office.
Kim seok Jin still hasn't arrive.
I took care of the pending documents.
Suddenly my phone started ringing.
It was from my brother Jihyun.

"Hello noona,  are you alright? Your boss called me an hour before and told me that you are suffering from stress anxiety and shouldn't go to work. But I told him that you already left for work. " He said panicking.
"What? Stress anxiety. Hahaha. No I don't have it. I don't get stress from work. " I said laughing.
"But I think I am recently having stress because of a jerk" I said seriously.
"Who? " My brother asked on the other line.
"You don't need to know. But he is such an ass" I said while hanging up the phone. I turned to face my desk again and my jaw dropped.
Kim seok Jin was standing there while he his eyes were on my phone that was in my hands.
Before I could say anything he went inside his office. He had a poker face. I just shrugged the thought of him hearing the conversation.

Kim seok Jin's pov.

So she think of me as a jerk and an ass. She do really hate me,  doesn't she. Because it's really rare for her to say things like that. She only once cursed at someone in our school times.

Flashback.

It was PT period of my class. We were running when I saw a girl fighting to a boy. Our class went closer to saw them.
My eyes bulged out when I saw Lee SO min shouting at a guy named Do Yoon .

Just after a second he punched her hard across her beautiful face making her fall on the ground.
I pushed the crowd to reach him so that I can beat him to death but before I could Jimin came into the scene and threw punches on the guy's face. And made him bleed from his lower lip. Some girls from our class helped Lee SO min stand up. She had a purple bruise on her cheek. My blood started to boil but I couldn't do anything. Before walking away Lee so min cursed at him.
"You are such an ass. You are a fucking dick" She shouted on top of her lungs.
I had heard her using strong language but that was the first time I saw her cursing someone like this.

End of the flashback.

'She must hate me so much' I thought but I shrugged the thought.

Time skip.

It was already 8 pm. I was about to finish the work when a thought cane in my mind.
'Should I drop her. Of course I have to drop her. But how should I ask her. She is still mad at me and now also hates me. '
I went outside after completing the work to see her but she was already gone.
I felt a little sad that at least she could've have told me.
I alone drove back to home.
