Chapter 8 • Ice Cream

Lisa's P.O.V

After we had our lunch, Jungkook and I decided to stroll at a mall. He's been holding my hand since forever. I know that he is also having a hard time with our situation. I just hope that this time no more broken promises and sugar coated words.

" Hey Lis, do you want some ice cream? My treat." He said while showing me his famous bunny smile.

" Yeah, sure!" Can't say no to free ice cream.

Inside the Ice Cream parlor..

" Strawberry & Cookie Dough, right?" He remember my favorite flavors.

" Yes, please? Thanks, Kook." I replied sincerely.

After 5 minutes..

" Here you go, my lady." He said as he hands me my ice cream.

" Oh why, thank you, Mr. Jeon." And with that we both laugh our hearts out because of the formality.

I pray that we can really start anew. No more third party, no more broken promises and no more lies. I hope we can make it right this time.

Jisoo's P.O.V

It's already 8:20 pm and Lisa isn't home yet. I should text her to ask if she'll eat dinner with us.

Limario, it's dinner time, should we wait for you or you'll eat somewhere with Jeon? Be safe, dongsaeng :)

" Jendeuk! Pasta! Have you guys seen my powerbank?" I shouted all the way from the kitchen.

" I saw it in your bed side table, unnie!" I heard Chae replied.

Maybe Lisa already replied to my message. I typed my code and went to messages.

Hey Chu, can we visit you guys this week? Me and the boys want to hangout with you. We'll bring foods, drinks and maybe some board games. Is it fine with you?

It's been a while since we saw them due to what happen to our maknaes. I thought we can no longer save the friendship that we had with them. All I want is that everything will fall into the right place.

Sure oppa, we would love that idea, just text me what time you'll be here so we can also prepare something.

If you're confused why does Jin oppa's name has a heart emoji is because I do like him for 2 years now. When Lisa introduced as to Jungkook and vice versa.

I felt my phone vibrated so I stopped walking to get my phone for me to see who was it from.

I saw Jungkook noticed that I'm not following him, he went right beside me and I showed him Jisoo unnie's message.

" Tell noona that we'll just have our dinner here then I will drop you off later at your dorm. I just want to spend this day with you." He stated and I just nodded and replied to my unnie.

He's been exerting effort just to make me feel that I am not worthless like I think I am, but can you blame me for feeling this way? I was badly hurt to the point that I was ready to let go.
