Chapter 16 • Lovebirds 2

Lisa's P.O.V

12:24 pm

I woke up from my deep slumber. I can clearly remember that I slept on the couch last night holding Jungkook's had because he was having a nightmare but how did I end up sleeping here in my room.

I went downstairs 'cause I'm already hungry. I haven't eaten my breakfast and lunch yet.

" Oh hey Lis, great timing. Let's eat lunch." RM oppa said.

The two of us headed to the dining room to see the rest of our friends waiting for us.

" Lis, go seat beside Jungkook." Jennie unnie said.

Jungkook immediately pulled the chair beside him waiting for me to sit without further questioning I took the sit beside him and we started eating lunch.

" Jisoo unnie were you the one who carried me from the couch all the way to my room?" I asked my Jisoo unnie 'cause she usually do that.

" No Lali, It was actually Jungkook who brought you to your room when he woke up this morning. He was concerned that you might hurt your neck and your back becaise of your sleeping position on the couch." Jisoo unnie replied which made our other friends smile widely.

What the heck is wrong with them? Why are they acting so weird?

" Thank you, Kookie." I whispered to Jungkook.

" Don't mention it, Lis. I should be the one thanking you for staying beside me the whole night even if you didn't have to." He sincerely replied.

" Uhmmm Lisa have you checked your phone since you woke up?" Hoseok oppa asked.

Shoot, I forgot my phone.

" I haven't checked it yet oppa, why?" I replied back but he just ignore my question.

After we finished eating my friends all went to the living room to watch some movie. I went first to my room to get my phone and headed downstairs.

When my friends saw me holding my phone they immediately gave each other a meaningful look. I swear they are creeping the hell out of me.

I sat beside Jin oppa and Jisoo unnie in the couch while typing the passcode in my phone because I was bombarded with so much notification.

I saw Jisoo unnie giving glances at my phone and in me. All of my friends sent a photo on our group chat and when I checked it was a photo of me and Jungkook sleeping on the couch holding each others hand.

" That's why you've been smiling creepily at me the moment I woke up, huh? It's normal for me to think of Jungkook's welfare. Plus, he's my boyfriend after all." I said which earned so much glance.

" Hey Kookie, are the butterflies in your stomach okay after hearing what Lisa had said?" Suga oppa said.

" It looks like he's having a hard time hiding his flushed face, Suga oppa. Being called 'my boyfriend' by Lis makes him all giddy about it." Chaeyoungie added.

Is it a bad thing to address Jungkook as my boyfriend? Oh shoot, I forgot that he is proving that he is qorth another chance. Nice try, Lalisa, nice try.

Jungkook's P.O.V

Lisa just address me as her boyfriend. It gives me more hope that she still loves me despite all the pain I caused her. I gives me more reason to fight for the love I have for her.

One step at a time. I will make this 2nd chance worth it and worth while. I can't lose the love of my life, NEVER.
