Chapter 40 • Appreciation

Chaeyoung's P.O.V

I'm here at the living room chillin' while watching some movies with Jimin oppa, Jennie unnie and Taehyung oppa. If I'm not mistaken later this evening they will go back to their house though Jisoo unnie told them that they can stay longer.

I saw Lisa is approaching towards me. I thought she will just sit beside me until she whisper something in my ear.

" Chaeyoungie, I need your help." Lisa said and she headed upstairs and I immediately followed her with so much curiousity in me.

Did she and Jungkook fight again? Are they having misunderstandings again?

" What is it, Lis?" I asked in a worried tone.

" How should I start this? Since the time my relationship with Jungkook went downhill up until now that we are back together he's been exerting extra efforts for me, just to win me back." Lisa replied.

" Go on. I'm listening." I replied as she continues talking.

" I want to make it up for him. I want to let him know that I appreciate all his efforts for me and for the both of us despite everything that has happen between us in the past." Lisa stated which made me smile. She really indeed has a heart of gold.

" Count me in, Lis. So what's your plan?" I asked her.

" Can you please tell them to distract Jungkook whenever he will look for me. I want to go grocery shopping and buy his favorite snack including the Thai seaweeds and banana milk that he loves. I'm planning to also buy him a pair of Timberlands. I'll be out for one hour or two." Lisa told me which I agreed on.

" Then some of us will make a banner with "Thank you for not giving up on our, Lalisa" or " Lalisa loves you so much, Jeon Jungkook." Which one do you like best?" I asked her.

" I like the Lalisa loves you so much, Jeon Jungkook but can you please put a purple heart at the end of it? Thank you so much, Chaeyoungie. I promise to buy you some snacks once I got back." Lisa stated which made me squeal.

After quite some time Lisa left our dorm without lwtting Jungkook notice it. I should inform my friends about Lisa's plan.

Hi guys! Lisa asked me to help her make a surprise for Jungkook and I agreed on it. Can you help me make a banner for Jungkook?

I started making some letterings while I wait for my there reply.

I'm coming up. I just told Tae to distract Jungkook by means of playing Overwatch.

I didn't bother to reply at Jennie unnie's text message and quickly got back in doing the letterings.

After few minutes I heard a knock from Lisa's room but I didn't open the door right away. It might be Jungkook looking for Lisa.

" Who is it?" I asked behind the closed door.

" It's us, Chae." Jimin oppa replied.

The momennt I opened the door they make there way fast as they could.

" Oh you started with the letterings, wifey. I love how you make it so cute and classy at the same time." Jennie unnie complimented my work.

We started doing the banner and other stuff we can make for Lisa's little surprise for Jungkook.

Jimin oppa and Jennie unnie started making doodles as the background of the letterings that I made while Jisoo unnie and I started coloring there finished drawings.

Lisa's P.O.V

I arrived safely to the mall and I immediately went to the grocery store to start hoarding Jungkook's favorite snacks. Jungkook deserves to be appreciated as well.

When I was already satisfied with my grocery shopping I headed straight to the cashier to pay for it and I went straight to the Timberlands boutique to buy him a new pair.

I bought him a Timberlands black boots and I decided to also buy a bucket hats for us two since we both love it.

Bzzztt.. Bzzztt..

From: Jin Oppa. 🤴🏻

My favorite dongsaeng, are you already on your way home? Do you need me to pick you up?

My heart melted when I saw Jin oppa's text message this is the reason why I ship him with Jisoo unnie so bad.

To: Jin Oppa. 🤴🏻

My heart just melted because of your text Jin oppa. You don't have to pick me up but can you please wait for me at our dorm's front door? Jungkook might see me.

After a few minutes I arrived safely at our dorm and Jin oppa is patiently waiting for me outside.

" Oppa! Does Jungkook seem to notice I am out for one hour or two?" I asked him the moment I saw him.

" No Lis. Taehyung and Hoseok made sure to distract him until everything is ready plus Namjoon and Suga is also there to help them so everything is under control. Let me carry those stuff for you." He replied as he help me carry the things I bought.

I'm planning to put this little set up in my room because I don't want to cause so much mess in our entire house.

The moment we entered our dorm, Jin oppa carry all the stuff I bought into my room and I started putting all the snacks into my bed but of course I give space in the middle part of my bed for the Timberlands and bucket hats.

I also made Jungkook a love letter to remind him how much I appreciate him as an individual and as my boyfriend.

After quite some time I am finally done with my little surprise for him.

" Here's the plan guys. Can you tell Jungkook that I accidentally injured myself when I was in the bathroom to make him check on me in my room then Namjoon oppa will be the one to capture his reactions. Sounds like a plan?" I asked them and they all agree on it.

They all went downstairs and act like nothing happened.

BLAG!!

Me and Jisoo unnie made up that sound we won't be the crackhead duo for nothing.

Then Jisoo unnie went outside my room and shouted downstairs.

" Jungkook-ssi! Lisa injured her foot bring some ice in here!" Jisoo unnie shouted at the top of her lungs.

In a matter of a second Jungkook come rushing with so much worry in his eyes.

" Hey baby, are you okay? Sorry if I got so busy playing Overwatch with V hyung. Jisoo noona said you injured your foot do you need something?" Jungkook said with sincerity in his voice and he check my feet to see how bad am I hurt.

" Hey babe, don't feel bad about it okay? Don't you notice anything?" I asked him as I hold his hand for reassurance that everything is fine.

He checked on my room and notice the banner that Jisoo unnie, Jennie unnie, Chaeyoungie and Jimin oppa made earlier and he also started checking the snacks that I bought for him
