"I never wanted that type of life for you and your brother."
Jisoo, Jin and Tatsu went to a nearby coffee shop after she clocked out for the afternoon. Tatsu felt it was necessary to talk about her grandfather Hidetashi Honda and why she never wanted them to live in Japan.
"I knew it will come a day where I have to tell you....I never imagined it being now." She mumbled, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Jisoo stayed silent.
"Your brother....he never understood...I guess it was my fault." She forced a chuckled before leaning back.
"....so grandpapa was a bad guy?" Jisoo asked quietly, still processing everything.
Tatsu immediately nodded her head. She never wanted Jisoo to believe that he was a bad man. He may have been in something terrible but he never was a bad guy.
"No, baby....your papa loved you and your brother." She reassured. "He loved his family and he did what was best for us and you two.....I just didn't want you to grow up in constant fear. Like I did."
Jisoo sighed. She really was an oblivious girl, huh? She wondered if this was why her brother left. Why he never came back.
Was he apart of this? Was he still even in Korea? She doubted that.
But wherever he was, she missed him everyday. She didn't care what he did or what he's doing now, she wanted to at least see him once. She knew Tatsu wanted to see her son again.
She could see it as she's sitting in front of her.
Just before she could say anything more, Jin came back with coffees. "Here you go, Mrs. Park." He said politely, placing a cup in front of her.
