2) hell no! - Thomas

You're the only girl in the glade. It's sorta weird for you. The guys haven't interacted with a girl in a while and don't really know how to treat you or talk to you.

So far the only guys you really get along with are Thomas, because he was the first person to talk to you and your boyfriend ; Minho, because he is just so funny and sassy; chuck, because he is a sweetheart; gally, because he could care less if you're a girl it doesn't stop him from being rude; newt, because he is British; and frypan, because well he is frypan

Right now almost everyone is eating, but you and a few other people are working building something since you're behind on schedule because gally is sick.

You are sawing some wood for the new building, when you see someone storming over to you. As the person gets closer you realize that it is Ryan. Ryan, is another builder that was put in charge of the builders until gally gets better. He has been yelling at everyone all day more than gally and he hasn't done any work. "Work more" "work faster" he is so annoying. Plus he won't leave you alone.

He stops right in of you. Here we go.
"YOU SLINTHEAD YOU'RE USING THE WRONG WOOD" Ryan yells at me. You roll your eyes, causing him to get angrier.

"DONT YOU ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME"

Finally you start losing your cool. "Ryan the wood I was sawing is the wood you gave me!" "Now can you quit yelling at me, that's all you have been doing today yelling yelling and more yelling, why don't you make yourself useful and actually do some work yourself"

Ryan was fuming. "YOU GOOD FOR NOTHING PIE-" before he can finish his sentence you start walking away clearly done with him. He grabs your hair pulling you back towards him. He slaps you hard across the face, you fall on to the ground, your face stinging.

"Hey guys what's going on out here we heard yelli-" newt says but stops when he sees what just happened

"WHAT THE SHUCK ARE YOU DOING" Minho yells running towards you. Newt and Thomas behind him.

"This shank needed to be taught a lesson for being disrespectful and useless." Ryan spat

"What the shuck are you talking about!!" You scream

"I HAVE BEEN WORKING MY ASS OFF ALL DAY AND LISTENING TO YOU SCREAM AT ME WHILE YOU DID NOTHING, ALL I DID WAS WALK AWAY AFTER YOU START SCREAMING AT ME AG-" once again you're cut off when Ryan kicks you.

"SOMEONE GRAB ALBY" newt yells

Minho runs to get alby, newt goes to help you up.

You groan from the pain.

" oh stop helping her she deserves it" Ryan yells.

Once newt helps you up, Ryan pushes you down. He starts kicking you over and over.

"ALL YOU HAVE DONE WHEN YOU GOT HERE IS BE USELESS AND COMPLAIN-"
Ryan yells but is cut off by Thomas

"OH HELL NO" Thomas yells before pulling Ryan off of you and tackling Ryan to the ground. Thomas begins throwing punch after punch into Ryan's face.

The rest of the gladers come running out to see what is going on.

It takes multiple people to pull Thomas off of Ryan. Ryan is covered in blood and his eyes are swollen shut.

"WHAT THE SHUCK IS GOING ON HERE" alby yells

Everyone freezes except for Thomas. Thomas Pushes the gladers off of him and walks towards Ryan pulling him up by his collar.

"THIS SAD EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN WAS KICKING Y/N, YOU'RE LUCKY I DON'T KILL HIM RIGHT NOW" Thomas growls

"Someone take y/n to the med jacks"

"Ryan our number one rule is never hurt another glader and you did that, and this isn't your first fight so you are to be banished tomorrow. But for now put him in the slammer"

"WHAT NO PLEASE I WILL NEVER HURT ANYONE AGAIN" Ryan yells trying to get free from the gladers grip

The med jacks rush over to you. Trying to help you. You're in so much pain that you pass out.

"Thomas is to be put in the slammer as well" alby yells but Thomas glares directly at Ryan. An evil smirk on his face.

"a perfect Chance to finish what I started" Thomas growls causing Ryan to gulp.

(Let's just say by the time thomas was done with him almost all the bones in Ryan's legs were broken. It was Revenge for kicking you.)

You wake up in a bed. You see Thomas holding your hand while he is asleep.

"Thomas" you say. Thomas's eyes open and once he sees you he smiles.

"Glad you're awake, how are you feeling?" Thomas asks

"Better although my chest hurts" you say

Thomas's jaw clenches. "Yeah because that little shucker broke 2 of your ribs" Thomas said anger evident in his voice.

"How long was I out" you asked

"2 days" . That explains the bags under his eyes.

"How much sleep have you been getting" you ask concerned for your boyfriend.

"Don't worry about me" Thomas says smiling a little

"What happened to Ryan"

"He was banished" your mouth forming an o.

"Why are your hands so bruised" you ask examining them.

"After you passed out Alby put me in the slammer with Ryan. By the end of the night I made sure his legs were so badly broken he could never kick another person... I mean that wouldn't be a problem now since he is dead"

"Thanks for protecting me and avenging me" you say

"Anything for you, I'm your boyfriend plus it's my job" Thomas says, he then leans down and kisses you on the lips gently. His soft lips molding with yours. He brings his hand up and caresses your face. You bring your hands up, you wrap one around his neck and the other you run through his hair.

"I love you" he mumbles through the kiss. "I love you too" you mumble back.
