Tate's POV
We swim around some more
"Tate, can we go inside? I'm worn out." Violet yawns
"Of course!" I smile and help her out of the pool
Once inside Vi changes into clothes and I shower

I get out and Vi is on the couch watching some show on TV
"Hey baby" I smile as I sit down
I wrap my arm around Violets shoulder
"Stop it! It's too damn hot" she yelled and moved across the couch
Uh oh
"I'm sorry Vi" I frown
She starts crying
"I miss you so much Tate" she whimpers
I hug her tightly
"I know, I'm sorry but I will take the day off. My boss understands" I say as a tear slips my eye
I have been neglecting her.
I'm always working and leaving her alone with her thoughts
"I'm sorry, these mood swings are getting the best of me" she sniffs
That made more sense!
"It's okay honey. I don't mind" I put my face in her neck and inhale her scent of mint and rosemary
"Tate?"
"Yeah Vi?" I look into her hazel eyes
"What should we name her?" Vi smiles
"Courtney?" I suggest
"I love that. Courtney Langdon" Violet beams
"Middle name?" I ask
"Amethyst?" she asks
"I like it. It's different" I nod and kiss her temple
"Courtney Amethyst Langdon" I smirk
"Our little angel" she kisses me
I put my hand on her growing belly
I feel a kick
"Tate! Did you feel that?!" Vi squeals
"Yeah" I smile lightly and I adrenaline courses through me
It's amazing
"I bet she's fast like her dad" Vi smirks
"Yeah but my track days aren't over so it's fair game" I laugh and kiss the side of her stomach
"I love you" she says, playing with my hair
"I love you too Vi, and you Courtney" I rest my head in her lap and caress her belly
