During the first week Pan Yan had been with them she had explored the land the first disciple and master cultivator had been living on for the last two years. She had been keeping the chickens healthy and fished at the nearby river to provide food, although it was not the best tasting, but it was edible either way.

"Good morning master!" Pan Yan greeted early morning as her master glanced her way and headed into his research lab. "Good morning, Senior Brother Wen Wuhan!" She greeted the arriving disciple who had finished his training. He too gave her a glance without acknowledging her cheery attitude and entered the section of the land where the showers were at. "Like master like student..." She said helplessly as he continued to tidy up the small lodgings.

"Hey, let's see how you've improved that beastly strength of yours." Wen Wuhan sounded from behind her as she was finishing cleaning the stables, before she knew it, she was flying with the help of a painful punch and landed into the training field.

She looked up to see the young preteen heading his way menacingly. Shivering in nervousness by the cold look she had gotten up with strong legs and stood in a defensive position. "Come at me Senior bother!" She said righteously.

"Are you dumb, the weak go first." Wen Wuhan sighed with irritation.

"Oh!" Pan Yan blushed, embarrassed by her blunder.

"If you don't even know basics in training, why are you here, you should just leave-" Wen Wuhan continued to antagonize her and beat her down mentally so she would leave, but a flying fist almost landed on him for being distracted.

"Never!" She shouted with a grin and twirled in the air aiming a high kick towards her senior, sadly it did not land and only received in return a punch to the stomach.

"Get up." Wen Wuhan ordered as he tossed her a wooden sword. "Use your surrounding and you own body to your advantage."

"Thank you for the wisdom Senior Brother!" She picked up the wooden sword and leaped forward, but instead of aiming at her opponent she stabbed the floor and swung upward, digging up the dirt and aiming it towards Wen Wuhan's eyes.

"Aah!" Wen Wuhan hissed and was startled at the stinging in his eyes. "What the hell, that's dirty!"

"You said to use my surroundings, you said the world is not fair if your strength is different, you said you must use your body, if this isn't implementing your everything, I don't know what is!" She stabbed forward, but having keen senses from living with his master Wen Wuhan was able to dodge and attack with his eyes closed. "How did you –"

"When you have experience, when you have reached my level, you too will be able to unlock your senses to a degree, you won't even need your eyes in the darkness." Wen Wuhan swung his wooden sword, feigning his strike and kicking her to the ground, he then landed his sword tip just over her throat. "You're so useless, just leave already." He said as he opened his eyes slightly, only to gain another dirt filled hand to the face.

"I'm not done yet!"

"You little- I'll kill you!" Using his Qi, Wen Wuhan covered his wooden sword and stepped forward, but the next thing he knew he was on the floor with a foot on his back.

"Training is over, Pan Yan." Rén Ru looked at Pan Yan and handed her a book. "Your abilities do not match mine, use this book to better utilize your strength and pair it with your Qi."

"Thank you master!" Pan Yan bowed on the ground as his master began to walk away.

"Wen Wuhan, stop laying on the ground and continue your studies." Rén Ru commanded as he left.

Huffing Wen Wuhan got up and left to clean himself up again. Pan Yan was left with a nicely crisp book that seems to have been made just recently, her master had not left the grounds since he brought her along, so that only meant that the few days she's been here he had hand made a cultivation technique book for her. She knew very well that creating a book would take a few years, how amazing is her master for him to make her a brand-new book method within less than a week?
