With a battle going on in the outside, Selig was locked in his safe room, which was his lab with the man he had saved. He looked out of the thick bullet proof tinted glass and watched the mayhem down below. He munched on a bag of chips, a bag which should still be unavailable in their current environment.

"Amazing don't you think?" Selig gave a small sad smile. "These creatures were released to kill us all, by Mother Earth no less. Isn't that just a signal for the humans to learn we are nothing but fleas biting and sucking? That in the end we'll be rid of in no time?" He sighed. "But it's understandable that they put effort to live, in the end everyone fears death." Selig reached into his pocket and retrieved a vile filled with orange liquid inside. "But the question still holds, are humans worth saving?" He tucked it back into his pocket. "Or should we finally give this planet some peace?"

Selig turned towards the 'sleeping' man with an indescribable smile. The man's thin lips held an unknown pull towards Selig, he couldn't understand the feeling well, but he was sure this is what humans call attraction. He stood up and swept the curls to one side and he followed along the man's straight bridged nose and touched those delectable lips. "Maybe it's worth saving?"

Selig was thinking about letting the zombies kill him and let this world rot, but when he tried to do so, he couldn't when he had met his sticky soul yet again. Becoming Selig was a character that didn't meet many people, so he had only assumed because of such a character he wouldn't be able to meet such a soul in this world, but within a few months of transmigration the soul found his way to him again. And as such Selig was going to heal him as fast as he could and leave the world right after but for some reason it was impossible now. He couldn't help but want to spend time with the annoying bastard.

"They're breaking off towards the homes, Jenkins, Barton, head around the lookout post and cut them off!" Andrew shouted out orders as arrows and bullets flew.

"How are we looking?" Johnathan arrives as he plunged his buck knife through a zombie's temple, damaging it's brain and leaving it limp on the ground for later gathering.

"I got most of my team helping on the evac, while your team is currently shooting them down from the watch towers and the rest are on ground." Andrew shot through a zombie with a stick 12-gauge pistol grip pump.

"Roger that, I'll deal with the fatties near the back." What Johnathan meant by fatties were the zombies that had been able to overeat and due to human holding magic they were able to utilize the energy to transform and level themselves up and be harder to take down.

Shooting down more zombies Johnathan went in full force towards a 7 foot zombie, most of it's mass was blubber that can withstand hundreds of bullets at once. But with a look of determination and a cute doctor at the back of his mind he took it down in less than five minutes. Panting from the intense workout Johnathan headed back inside as he had seen the second fatty fall down, it held no head and he made a mental note to obtain a sniper that the man at the watchtower was utilizing.

Explosions rumbled the ground and flames licked at everything it could touch, such a terrible scene could be heard from all over their camp, but as the herd dwindled down, the base held a much more vigorous energy as they noticed the smaller numbers. They gave it their all as they slain the few zombies that were left.

Looking around they were bummed out about the destruction of their base, but either way they called back the civilians and began to work and rebuild. Johnathan on the other hand left all the work to the people and left to check on the doctor and make sure he was okay. What he saw when he entered made his blood boil, the doctor was caressing the intruder's face.
