"Pointless"

Cassidy's POV

I looked at my phone as the idea of sleeping became pointless.

4:15 AM.

I remember when they broke up after year 11.

Moving on was hard for him.

There would be days where he just stayed in bed.

Music and the development of 5SOS was the only thing that distracted him.

I never mentioned my feelings for him, I thought it would be easier for both of us.

He didn't need to worry about anything, I just wanted him to know I was there for him.

As a friend.

I watch Luke get up from my bed, guitar in hand, and jogged out the door at the sound of the echoing doorbell.

We've been talking about college life while waiting for the guys to come over.

So far, it's been boring and stressful.

It's just more workload that I don't want to do.

None of the classes appeal to my interests.

 

I continued to think of lyrics as the guys walk down into the basement, greeting me as they pass my door.

"We'll be downstairs if you need us" Ashton smiles.

"K" I replied.

An hour passed by when I finally finished half of my song.
