Hey guys! I am so sorry for the long...very long wait for these two chapters, and for the shortness. The past couple months have been pretty tiring considering school is coming to a close. Meaning (hopefully) Chapters come faster. Welp I've posted chapters 28 and 29 so enjoy XD. (p.s. The picture is what I believe Grey to look like in his wolf form.)
Author's POV
They were about three minutes from Grey's house when the teen abruptly went quiet. A deathly hallow quiet spring chills down Nathan's back. A complete noiseless quiet, to where even Nathan couldn't hear his breathing despite his superb hearing. He leaned in to check on the blue eyed boy to make sure he was still breathing.
"Grey?"
"I no wanna go home daddy." the little whimpered into Nathan's ear. He didn't ask why; pegging it up to him being afraid of going home and finding someone at his house.
"Okay baby, where to?"
Nathan asked Sutton to pulled into the nearest gas station as the little collected himself and thought of where he wanted to go. Grey's hold on Nathan didn't dare loosen, in fear that the teen would disappear.
Sutton parked the car then turned to the back of the car to get a good look at Grey and Nathan. All she could see was the raven haired teen holding on to Nathan like his life depended on it, and Nathan trying his hardest to comfort him. With a little self pep talk she was able to ask a question that's been burning her since they left the school.
"Does Grey..um, did he... did he know that guy?" she fumbled as she tried to find the right words to say.
Nathan couldn't help the sad way his head shook as he confirmed her question. Sutton turned back in her seat at a complete lost at what was going on with her friends and the new kid. Deep down inside she felt like she knew what was going on, but the more she thought on it the harder it was for her to remember what.
She turned back towards the two once more.
"Grey, are you okay sweetie?" she whispered softly as she fully turned in her seat. She meant to try and give a reassuring pat on Grey's back, but as soon as her hand came in contact with his back a violent flinch made the girl pull back.
The screech that left the littles mouth filled the car with a panicked scent. Making Sutton pull herself all the way back to the point she was pressed against the steering wheel. Grey clutched onto Nathan's Jacket tighter, hoping he would be able to stay near him.
"Daddydaddydaddydaddydaddy." Grey cried repeatedly as he pressed his wettening cheeks to Nathan's front.
"She didn't mean it baby," Nathan tried to soothe, "she didn't mean it."
Nathan held Grey until the vibration of his panicking cries slowed, and his breathing came out in broken hiccups.
"It's okay baby. It was just Sutton. Calm down." Nathan soothed as he felt the weight of the boy holding him close slump.
Soon Grey was calm enough to snuggle closer to Nathan. To tuckered out to do much of anything else since his energy was quickly depleting.
"I wanna go saff's house." Grey whimpered in the junction of Nathans neck. Moving his body closer to the calming pheromones his daddy was letting out.
Again, Grey wanting to escape to his sister's house didn't come as much of a surprise to Nathan. He had already assumed he would want to go somewhere he was familiar. At first he was hesitant to agree, but as he looked down at the tear stained, blotchy red cheeks of his little he couldn't help but comply.
