Buzz - buzzz - buzzzz! A small groan couldn't help but pass its way across my lips, muffled words escaped my mouth as I rotated my body so I was now in the midst of suffocating into a pillow.Buzz - buzzz - buzzzz! In a moment of pure and utter immaturity I launched an unprovoked attack onto my innocent mattress, sitting up abruptly like a mad woman, chocolate brown hair sitting in odd angles, the remnants of make-up covering my lightly tanned face. As the excessive buzzing continued I heard a loud banging of protest come from the left side of my bedroom, rolling my blue eyes I managed to drag myself from the warmth of my quilt. A pathetic whine soon passed my lips as the icy cold floor hit the bottom of my feet *Why dad thought getting wodden flooring for the whole house was a good idea I will never know!*I thought in agitation.
Reaching out my hand I picked up the cause of the noise, my phone. Sliding the password code into the device I saw a text message from Elena, on first thought I wanted to chuck my pone away so I was able to fall back to the comforts of my bed. But something deep inside me made me realise something was wrong, call it woman's intuition but I had to read the message.
- Sara!! Where are u? Plz tell me your ok!! Ive been trying 2 get hold of u all night! Somethings happened to Caroline, she is in hospital, she is critical Sar.. I'm scared please, please call me as soon as u can! x -
It felt as if someone had just punched me in the face, my mouth ran dry and a hot heat cascaded through my body. Caroline was in hospital, beautiful, caring Care-bear was in a critical condition an me the selfish friend had gone home early from last nights event complaining of a headache when in reality all I wanted was my bed. Before I knew what was happening tears were running their way down my face as a shaky breath passed my lips. I needed to get to the hospital, NOW!
