A small breath came from me as I looked up at the Lockwood property, rubbing the back of my head I gave a small sigh before forcing a smile on my face. What was going on in this town? First I find out my friend is in hospital now my best friends father is dead?! Its complete and utter madness...

I was pulled from my thoughts as a hand clasped mine, looking down I saw my younger brother Mark. He was looking up at me with a small grin, his dark brown eyes boring into my blue ones. Freckles covered his face and his brown hair was slicked upwards. I couldn't help but smile back this ten year old really had style, he was vain more so than me. And I was the teenager girl? Shaking my head I ruffled his hair, causing him to scowl before removing his hand from mine and fixing it quickly.

As a laugh escaped my mouth watching as Mark tried to jump to pull at my hair, I felt a rough shove to my shoulder. Grunting I turned quickly round mouth armed with a handful of insults I could use on the clumsy idiot. On turning round I came face to face with my older brother, Kyle. He had a small frown on his face but he held his hands up in surrender at my glare. "Were at a funeral guys, show some respect..." He drawled out scowling at me and Mark.

On other occasions I would have insulted him, but he had a point we were at a funeral. And here I was laughing, swallowing down my guilt I bite my lower lip. How I hated when he was right, he was a year older then me but he thought he was the wisest man on earth. Did I mention he is almost as protective as my father? Yeah... It was a pain.

Most would say my brother was a looker, his black hair was short which he always wore spiked up. Caroline would often tell me it was the running your hand through kind of hair. Have to say I almost keeled over and died... I wasn't fond of talking about the appearance of my sibling, especially with a friend who would... How would she say it.. "jump his bones"

Kyle like my younger brother Mark had deep brown eyes, they got this from my father, me on the other hand got my eye colouring from my mother, and that I was thankful for.

Running another hand through my hair I smiled sheepishly at them both "Yeah, your right... Im going to go find Tyler, see you later" Raising my hand at them in a goodbye, I turned round making my way to the Lockwoods front door.

I could just make out the figure of Tyler, moving round the people talking to Miss Lockwood I made my way to him. Without saying a word I wrapped my arms around his shoulders pulling his muscular frame into me. At first I could feel him freeze, but he soon relaxed. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me in tightly, his head burying itself into my neck. I knew better then to say anything, knowing if I did Tyler would go all macho and brush me off, so I stood their in silence, in till we were interrupted by a familiar voice.

Tyler released me from his grasp and turned to face a man that looked similar to him, removing my arms from his neck I kept one hand on his shoulder as he had kept an arm around my waist. Their was a few moments of silence and in that time I decided to asses the man in front of me, he had tanned skin and short black hair, chiseled features and a muscular body. He was hot! I couldn't help but let me eyes wander over him a second time, but was pulled back as an arm tightened round my waist, glancing to Tyler I saw him give me a warning look. Rolling my eyes at him I turned back to the man.

People kept coming up to me, saying how sorry they were. I of course nodded my head politely giving them a small smile. But I just wanted to leave, none of these people cared... They just wanted free food and drink, a reason to all gather together. I had to suppress the growl wanting to admit from me, I really needed to sort out my anger it had gotten worse and it was really annoying me.
