《REQUEST RIDE! REQUEST TIME!》 Number: 1 Heart Speeds up When Time Slows Down Drive X Maka
[Takes Place Before Episode 1 of the Anime]
In a small town far away from Death City, the Scythe Meister Maka Albarn and her weapon partner Soul "Eater" Evans, walked around in the middle of the day talking to people as they traveled.
Soul: "So, what are doing in this town again? I completely forgot."
Maka: "Ugh. Ok, but you've gotta listen this time. This place has had a major infestation of Time Altering Kishins. They slow down time and eat human Souls making themselves stronger, and the only people who can move when time slows down are Meisters when they wield Weapons, so were here to destroy and eat the Kishin Souls of all 108 of them, so were gonna be here for a couple weeks."
Soul: "Welp, if it's time away from class I'm fine with taking down 108 Kishin, plus after were done here we can go after a Witch Soul and turn me into a DeathScythe with record time!"
Maka: "Right! But first, we've gotta go to a place called... the "Metropolitan Police Department's Special Circumstances and Incidents Investigation Division.""
Soul: "Alright, and where's that?"

Soul: ".... A DMV?... this place is so uncool..."
Soul said unenthusiasticly as he stared at the Kuruma Driver's License Center.
Maka: "Weird. Why would they put such an important sounding division in a place like this?"
Soul: "Maybe because Special Circumstances and Incidents Investigation Division, isn't as important as it sounds."
Maka: "Well, as uncool as this place sounds, this is where are request came from. So as representatives of the DWMA we need to treat these people with respect!"
Soul: "Ugh, I'm not sure if I can do that."
Maka: "Well look on the bright side. While we're here you can get your driver's licenses for you motorcycle renewed."
