7:30 am Seoul

An icon appears with a picture of Jennie kissing her baby brother. I hardly let my laptop ring when I click the middle bar - click the middle bar - click the middle bar - click the middle bar - click - click click click clickclickclickclickCLICKCLICKCLICK!

"What the hell!?" Using the touch pad, I quickly move the arrow and press accept.

*Missed call.

"Uh!" I groan and press the video icon to call her back.

Breath.

I wait - try wait - patiently for her to pick up.

"Why is she taking so long?" I grumble.

She literally just called me?

Where could she have gone in the space of two seconds!? I mean two seconds! I literally took TWO SECONDS to call back!?

"Answer!"

*No answer.

"You've got to be fucking kidding me"

My phone buzzes and a text appears.

From:
Baby

I couldn't click fast enough.

Sorry two minutes

"Ahhh - "

I throw my head back into my pillow and have a mini meltdown... okay possibly, (actually) not so mini. More so very - as in very big meltdown. As in legs briefly kicking the air, head smacking the mattress, type of meltdown.

BUT -- I feel my "childish" reaction is valid, and valid for two reasons.

One, we only ever get thirty minutes in the morning to talk, and now we're looking at twenty five. Maybe less!

And two, I'm in love so... I mean what do you expect. I want to talk with my girl.

And I want to talk to her now.

Hurry xxx

My eyes flick between my phone and my laptop, anticipating a reply.
