those left in the dust

Ones, family.

Another's, wishful thinking.

One who has a home waiting.

The other who waits for it.

Two who are loved,

both by the same,

though neither near, close to those who remain.

These are the small moments,

where the dust settles,

on pages that are more often then not forgotten.

That some might argue relevance.

Or complain the lack of.

But the one with the family,

and the one who can't quite relate,

would both argue back, that these are the most important stories -- people,

to hear,

to have,

while you wait.

Like one does for the other,

like we for them,

or all those too praying for good fate.

A happy end.

So, to the ones neither near, close to those who have left.

To the few too caught in this mess,

To the few, here,

in Busan.

Comfort settles over strained shoulders as a bustling dinner scene returns. Nostalgia can't be helped. The frivolous conduct of my dizzy making children being of lost sight. Once lost sight. Now returned. Or at least returning, in tentative, small steps.
