★The Once was Bliss

Green meadows, lush trees and blue waters,
Safe rain, safe alleys and a soft song that never ever heard falters.

Each little bird that sings songs of tranquility,
Each little flower that blooms in sanity.
Once a thick forest was now a busy city.
The once proud mountain now bent by atrocity.

Engulfed in darkness,
She shed tears in silence.

Her once blue blood was darkly poisoned,
Her once green flawless hair is now balded,
Her bosoms, once voluptuous are now flattened,
And her once Neanderthal children are now empowered.

Engulfed in darkness,
Her tears are now filled with bitterness.

The rains have turned into acid,
The air is now steely and acrid.
Look what you did-
The once was bliss is yours to get rid.

Engulfed in sadness,
She now waits to turn into nothingness.
