★Into the Lair of the Devil

My heart races, my guts are twisting.
I wasn't afraid. I keep convincing myself that I wasn't afraid.
But the more I keep on believing, the more I tried running,
Away from this dread, the more I am sure I am dead.

It flashed inside my head. That so horrifying incident.
I shut my eyes close to shrug away that hideous thought.
I know I did the right thing, I shouldn't have remembered that moment.
I am certain I wasn't dead yet, but it was the devil I sought.

The devil did transport me in this world.
Where the tranquilizing lullabies are deprived,
And all the lyrical wails are translated into a strange word.
I closed my eyes again and prayed, till then cold beads of sweats have me awakened.
