I grabbed the keys of my bag and opened the door Brad's house.

"Hi! I'm back home! ", I yelled taking off my boots and jacket. Nobody responded except of Jesse, so I guess the rest is at work.

I dragged me to the kitchen to cook something when Jesse came and sat next to the dinning table and watched me.

' Hello Jesse! How was your day?' , I talked to her whilst I was stroking her head. She's far too cute for this world.

Afterwards I opened the cupboard and took out some rice and a cooking pot. Then I put the pot with the rice on the stove and went over to the vegetables when my eyes remained on the newspaper.

I took the newspaper and began to look for a small flat. It's nice to live here with Brad and his family, but I think it's time to move out since I've been working hard on the weekends and raised up enough money.

There were only big expensive flats. Urghhh I hate that. I wanted to close the newspaper when I saw a small note of our road:

Two bedroom apartment for a cheap rent.

Oooo that sounded interesting, because I guess that's a flat in a that residence in the end of the street.

I took a scissors and cut that note out and was heading towards my room when I saw a letter with an pink note on it saying:

For Rose

With the living ad and the letter I went upstairs to my room.

I put the note on my desk and looked then to the envelope. Didn't I get a letter with the same envelope a week ago?

Just when I wanted to look for the first letter Jesse began to bark and I remembered that I've completely forgotten my rice!

That's me. I always forget stuff.

I ran downstairs and turned off the strove. Thank god that my rice hasn't burned.

Maybe it's better to concentrate on one thing than doing endless things on the same time. It would be great to continue with cooking and not to distract myself with stuff.

30 minutes later

Finally I finished to cook my "Arroz chaufa"

( rice chaufa hahah idk the translation, but it's a delicious Chinese/Peruvian dish ;) with rice, vegetables, eggs and soy sauce)

I went with my full plate to the table and started to eat when the front door opened and a squeaking Natalie entered.
