Chapter 40

After Johnny got off one of his usual phone calls we went into our rooms. Taylor and Caleb were still asleep so we just sat on the bed and went on our phones. I went on Instagram and found a cute picture to post and comments flooded in, along with likes. I then put my phone down and got my laptop to check the cameras on the house and other important things. When I checked the cameras at the house I noticed something very VERY! off. When I checked the main entrance the front door was creaked open and I was most defiantly sure I had closed the door and locked! It. I turned to Hayden and quickly informed him.
A- Hayden, Hayden!
H- hm! What?!?
A- the front door is open?
H- the fro- what?
A- the fucking front door is open!!!
H- at the house?!!?
A- YES, you dumbass!
H- umm, what should we do? We have no way to get back there!
A- I don't know. Maybe I should call my mom
H- no! That could be dangerous, you don't know if someone that could hurt her is in there
A- your right... I'll call Hayley!
H- ANNIE!
A- what? I'll ask her if her husband can scope the place out!
H- oh okay.
A- you really thought I was gonna send my sister in there? Oh my gosh.

A- wait look! I see something in the hall.
H- it's to dark how can you see it?
A- good vision? I don't know
H- *rolls eyes*
A- wait. I think they are coming closer!
H- what if they see the camera?
A- they can't, my dad (when he lived with us) put in worlds smallest cameras.

A- yea. Wait... who is that?
H- stranger, murderer, thief?
A- I don't know I can't see their face, I better call Hayley!

*calls*
H$- Annie.... why are you calling so late?
A- sorry, but it's an emergency.
H$- we'll spit it out!
A- me, Hayden and the kids our on a cruise! But I'm checking the cameras and someone is in the house!
H$- really!?!
A- I was wondering if Jacob could go look?
H$- what if it's a murderer? You want me to risk my man.
A- well fine then, you got a better idea?
H$- uh yea! Send Carson 😂
A- OH MY GOD! your so freaking smart! Let me call him.
H$- haha okay bye
A- bye

H- what did she say?!
A- she doesn't want Jacob going in there
H- ugh! Annie what do we do?
A- Hayley came up with an amazing plan!
H- well... what is it?
A- to send Carson!
H-wow... that is the smartest thing your sister has ever said.

C- hmm.... Annie?
A- hi Carson, don't got a lot of time to speak.
C- are you being kidnapped? Send the address.
A- ha... not exactly.
C- then what?
A- me, Hayden and the kids are on a cruise.

A- but i checked the cameras in my house and someone is in there.
C- oh really?

C- ok, ok I'll go look.

C- yea I'll call you if I find anything out.

H- what did he say?
A- he's gonna go look and call me if anything happens.
H- okay good.

About 30 minutes pass and stressing out WAITING for a call from Carson. I wanted to call him but I didn't know what he could be "busy" with so I didn't.

H- you should call him, it's been way to long.

A- he didn't answer!
H- umm.....
A- what if he's dead?
H- I don't even know how to answer that question 😐
A- we should call the police.
H- Annie no, that's to much
A- how? Some stranger is in our house.

My phone then started ringing so I answered as quickly as possible.

A- hello?
C- yea so ummm.....
A- what? What happened
C- how do I say this....?
A- just tell me!!!
C- hehe.... uh so the person that WAS in your house, well they um....
A- Carson, please just tell me.
C- they took your diamond Caleb ring....I'm so so sorry.
A- THEY DID WHAT?
C- by the time I got there nobody was there right? Okay then I checked your house to make sure nothing was GONE and the last thing I checked was the box in your room... it's was taken.
A- okay.... thanks for checking the house.
C- are you gonna be ok?
A- what are your CRAZY? no I'm not gonna be OK!
C- well I locked your door.
A- thanks. I gotta go
