Kara decided to surprise Lena. She went into her office and found her standing in the gallery. She slowly went behind her and pulled her in an Embrace. Lena shuddered at the touch but got comfortable as she realized who it was. She relaxed her head on top of Kara's shoulder. Kara kissed on top of her head.

"What are you looking at?"

"Looks like it is going to rain today."

"Yes. I want to go home."

"Ok," Kara said and picked Lena up flying out of L-Corp. She landed Lena on their Apartments balcony.

"How many times do I have to tell you that a little heads up before you grab me and fly will be good."

"You look cute when you are scared."

Lena sighed and went inside. She changed into a giant sweatshirt and track pants. Kara also changed into some comfortable PJs and sat beside Lena. They were getting cozy. That's when lightning flashed outside. Kara shivered and hid inside the blanket.

"Hey, Sweetie. What happened baby?"

"I hate storms."

"It was just thunder. Don't worry."

Lena said and pulled Kara on her lap. Kara held her tightly. That's when she heard something crack. Kara looked at Lena, and her eyes started getting bigger and bigger.

"Oh My Rao Lee! What happened? Does it hurt? Of course, it does. I'll fly you to the DEO."

Kara was rambling, and Lena started chuckling.

"What? What?"

Lena slowly opened her hand, and there was a pen in her hand. Kara was still confused. Lena opened it a cap, and it exactly sounded like the voice she heard before. Lena couldn't contain her laughter after that. She started laughing, hysterically.

"Lena Kieran Luthor! You are going to pay for this."

Lena looked at her and started running around the apartment. Kara was trying to catch her with human speed. It was Lena's rule that she should not use her powers when they are together. Eventually, Lena went out of the apartment and went down the lift before Kara could reach there. Kara groaned and went down with stairs. She caught Lena by her waist. She held her up. They were both smiling, looking at each other. Finally, Kara put her down. Lena was breathing heavily, catching her breath. That's when she looked outside.

"It's raining."

"Yes. It is." Kara said, looking at her.

"Want to go outside?"

"No."

"Come on."

"No. I'm not going."

"But I'm going."

"Don't go. You'll be sick."

"I am going."

Lena said and stepped outside in the rain. She filled her palm with water and threw it on Kara's face. Kara was looking at her. She was the most beautiful person in the world. She had everything in the world. She was a compelling person. But her needs were very genuine and very less. The rain made her so happy that Kara was looking at her without blinking. After some time, she came inside, and she was grinning ear to ear. But she was shivering with cold. Kara wrapped her arms around the lady and escorted her to their apartment.

"You're going to be sick."

"It was worth it."

Kara then helped Lena change and pulled her closer to her chest.

"Can I tell you something?"

"Of course."

"Lee, you might not show it, but you are the most innocent and adorable person I've seen on planet earth. Never let that innocence ever leave you."

"If you are in my life, I will never lose it."
