Lena was slightly perked up today. If nothing else, then just the prospect of having a friend was something she was looking forward to. She smiled at Jess before entering her office.

In a few minutes, she heard a thud behind her. Supergirl was there. She rolled her chair to come face to face with the blonde, looking at her surprisingly.

"Surprise visit? Is there a problem?" She asked arching her eyebrow.

"Not really. I was just patrolling the city and thought that I should drop by."

"Oh! Okay." Lena was surprised. A visit for no reason wasn't their thing anymore.

"So, you're friends with Aiden Evans, huh?"

"Yeah. We go way back. She was my first friend after I came here."

"Here? In National City?"

"No. In the US. After my Mom died."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

"No. It's fine. She and I were always outsiders in the neighbourhood. It felt good having someone knowing exactly what you felt."

"Yeah. I can understand that."

They were both smiling at each other when the door slightly opened and their heads shot towards it.

"Breakfast for- Oh! Sorry. Didn't realize you had company, I'll wait." Aiden looked at both of them and started turning back.

"We were just talking and I have to leave anyway. It was good meeting you, Ms Luthor."

"Likewise, Supergirl."

Lena said and Kara flew out of the balcony. Lena kept looking at the blue streak until it disappeared.

"I did not know you were friends with Supergirl." Aiden broke her concentration.

"She is more of an acquaintance and did you say breakfast?" Lena brushed off a topic.

"Yes. Your assistant told me that you skip loads of meals, so I thought I can get you your favourite."

"You are again being very presumptuous with the fact that you know what my favourites are after all these years."

"Do you not like Kale anymore?"

"Okay, you are good." Lean smiled wide and dug into the container of Kale salad.

"So, I was the inspiration behind your book, huh?"

"Of course you were. You are always my inspiration."

"We need to talk about something, Aid."

"That never is a good start." She said and kept her own container of food aside while and started looking at Lena with an unreadable expression.

"I don't think this would work."

"This?"

"I am not ready for any relationship right now."

"You are in love with someone." Aiden smiled looking at the woman in front of her.

"Wha-, No! No!" The CEO exclaimed with a voice that even she didn't know she could make.

"You are really bad at lying, my friend. Your voice went like three octaves higher. You are in love, aren't you?"

"Yes. No. Maybe. I'm not sure."

"It seems like you are pretty sure that you are in love, you are just not sure how to approach those feelings."

"You are a therapist now?"
