Chap. 40 (FINAL CHAPTER)

MICHAEL POV

"Thank you so much Katherine." Ava said hugging mom. We were at mom's house letting the kids go.

"Maaaamaaa don't leave me." Plum cried onto Ava's dress.

I felt Prue's grip on my hand tighten.

I kneeled in front of Prue.

"It's only for a week honey." I said touching her cheek.

Prue just nodded tightly but still kept her grip on my hand.

Charlie started giggling. I looked to him and saw mom tickling him. He had always loved staying with his grandma.

I sighed. Time for plan B. I took out Prue's vampire teeth and her folded up mask out of my pocket.

"You have my permission to scare them." I say.

"What does pamimson mean?" Prue asked cocking her head to her side.

"It means... go scare your brothers." I say.

Prue's face brightened and she took the items out my hand.

"Don't show it to mommy!" I whisper.

She nodded and hid it behind her back.

I look back at Ava and somehow she got Plum off her.

"If you guys feel down, Auntie Ashely and Bubbles are always going to be there for you." I say smiling.

The kids shout in happiness.

"Charlie come give mommy a hug." Ava said.

Charlie hopped out of mom's arms and hugged Ava. Then he hugged me. I gave him a kiss.

We hugged and kissed the rest and waved goodbye. When we opened the door the limo was waiting for us.

"I just can't wait." Ava said.

We got into the limo and Ava smiled at me.

"Ready for our big adventure?" She asked excitedly.

"I thought this trip was all about relaxing." I say.

But I knew that what we were going to do today wasn't 'relaxing.' I planned the whole day with a fun theme. I couldn't wait.

I woke up next to a sleeping Ava in my car.

"Wu-happen" I ask rubbing my eyes.

"Mr. Jackson you're here." My driver announced.

"Thank you." I say groggy.

"Ava! Wake up!" I shout.

"I'm up, just give me a second." She sighed at me.

Her eyes fluttered open and she rubbed her eyes.

"Oh my gosh, it's so pretty here." She said.

"I know." I say.

"Let's go to our hotel, with finally no reporters." I say opening the car door.

"Thank you Michael." Ava says when we get out the car.

The fall leaves blew over my shoes and Ava's hair stuck to her face as I looked at her.

"You're welcome."

"Now shamone, I have a surprise for you." I say grabbing her hand.
