"Orochi, huh?" I said. "That's an interesting name"
"It's not my actual name. It's more of a nickname." He explained. "I don't think you need to know my real name."
"Alright." I conceded. He turned around and began walking away.
"I may see you later, Kazan." He said.
"'May'?" I asked.
"Depends if the reminder of you annoys me." He answered. I watched the hulking man walk away. He began to merge into the large crowd. I saw him turn to look at a woman with long hair and glasses. Her hair was also blue, which was slightly strange for people. She seemed to be smiling at him. Maybe she was his girlfriend of something. Then again, I doubt he would want a girlfriend from the way he talked about others. The woman also had a very strange aura around her.
I began walking towards the two, despite my better judgement. I felt a sort of pressure emanating from the woman. It only got stronger as I got closer. No one else seemed to notice. I walked up to the two. The woman's smile quickly faded when she saw me.
"Who's this, Orochi?" I asked, trying to sound polite. His face darkened while looking down at me.
"A person offering freedom." He answered, vaguely. I looked at the woman. I smiled brightly at her. I held out my hand to her.
"Nice to meet you, ma'am. I'm Kazan." I greeted. She slowly met her hand with mine. We both felt a spark, similar to getting shocked, but it felt slightly different. Her eyes widened, almost like she knew what this meant. She removed her hand. I looked at her with one eyebrow raised.
"I'm Psykos." She said, smiling. "Would you like to join me and Orochi for a little trip?"
"What kind of trip?" I asked. It seemed like a person offering candy to a kid in a windowless van. I could defend myself, but only against weaker enemies. She seems rather imposing.
"It's a sort of experiment on Mr. Orochi over here." She answered. "You're welcome to watch." I decided that I would follow her. I was being quite an idiot, but I trusted my ability to run quite quickly if things were actually bad.
"Alright, I'll come with you." I agreed. "Sounds like fun." She smiled even brighter. Orochi let out a loud groan of annoyance.
We began our walk. Psykos seemed to be quite interested in me. I had no idea why. Orochi remained silent the entire walk. She told me that she always been interested in human modification.
"Like experimentation?" I asked.
"Only to help humans evolve." She answered. "But some have died."
"Were they volunteering?" I asked, backing away. She began to sweat.
"Some were volunteers, others were criminals." She explained. "They volunteered and knew the consequences. I will never do that to you. I wanted to help you get stronger through another way."
"What?" I asked. Did she know about my power? "How do you propose to do that?" I knew this was a bad idea, but I just wanted to go do something different. I may get attacked, but at least it'll be something new. Maybe I can get stronger, if she is being truthful.
We enter City Z. I mention that I live there. I decided not to mention Saitama. She opens a small entrance in the street and we enter. It was a labyrinth of hallways and corridors. We reached an enormous room with a ceiling that was too high to see.
"How did you make this place?" I asked.
"I've had plenty of time on my hands." She answered.
"This is like the typical evil lair, Psykos." I said. "Do you plan on killing me?"
