"Is that the best you can do?!" Psykos taunted. "You have to try harder to beat me! This isn't gonna cut it!" My breathing was labored, my arms full of bruises and cuts from her attacks, and my hair dripping with sweat. I've been coming back every day for the past two weeks. I have finally begun to gain some meat on my bones from my exercising. My powers have been increasing much quicker. Psykos has been giving me some small exercises I can use when I'm at home. She had me meditate, and she also said that I should hold up a certain amount of items with my powers and keep them in the air for as long as I can.
My hair was becoming more distinct and more red. I thought it had something to do with my increasing powers. The more powerful I became the more power I wanted. It was almost like a drug. I didn't care if I was overworking myself, I wanted to become stronger.
I thought I was reaching the strength of Psykos, but I am still an ant compared to her. Every attack I attempt is easily stopped, but I have been getting much better at defending myself against her attacks.
I pushed myself off the ground, a puddle of sweat below me. Blood was dripping down my forehead once more. It had become less annoying as time went on, luckily. She still hadn't broken a sweat. I cursed myself internally that I still couldn't challenge her.
"What am I missing, Psykos?" I asked, grunting as I stood up.
"You can't expect to become strong after only a few weeks, Kazan." She explained. "You just have to keep pushing yourself." She then seemed to have an idea. She lifted me up. She seemed to be having a little trouble doing it because of me being an esper, but she then lifted a sharp rock to my chest. It was near the shoulder.
"W-What are you doing?!" I screamed. The rock was then jammed into my shoulder. I screamed in pain and terror. The pain was almost unbearable. I fell to the ground, and tears began to roll down my face. Blood pooled around my body.
"This may quicken the process." I heard her say through my cries and whimpers. I then blacked out from blood loss.
I felt a very cushiony surface under me, much softer than my bed at my apartment. I opened my eyes. I had no shirt on. My right shoulder was bandaged. I felt lightheaded and weak. I pushed myself up and sat on the edge of the bed. It was a dark room with only a single lamp as a light source. I stood up and felt the cold floor on my bare feet. I saw my shoes and socks against the side of the bed. I put my shoes on. There was a dark red shirt on the nightstand as well. I grabbed it and put it on. I noticed a few more bandages across my body. I slipped the shirt on. It was very tight on my torso. I could see all of the muscle I've developed over the last month.
"Why did she stab me?" I asked myself. I felt my bandaged shoulder and winced. I reached the door and was met with more corridors. I heard a noise to my left, so I decided to start there. I saw that I was reaching the enormous main room. I saw a small figure that was purple with yellow eyes. It was about eight feet tall. I saw Psykos looking up at it. This must be the monster she is making that Saitama can have some fun with. It doesn't look too strong, however.
"Is that Orochi?" I asked. She turned around and smiled.
"Monster King Orochi now." She explained. "He may not look like much now, but he will be much stronger the more I work on him." She then stopped smiling. "I'm sorry for the attack earlier. I had hoped that getting you close to death would speed up the process. It must've hurt."
"Do you want to kill me?" I asked.
"Why would I want to do that?" Psykos asked.
"Are you taking advantage of me?" I asked. Her eyes widened. "Are you helping me so I can join you and Orochi?" She turned to Orochi and said,
