Training

Over the last month, I'd been training with Psykos nonstop. I only told her that I wanted to become a monster. I'm sure she wouldn't help me if she knew my real reason for becoming a monster.

I've also been visiting Hailey almost every day. I've become very good friends with Lia as well. My hair has begun to turn into a bright red. My hair also began to stand up on its own.

The training has been anything but easy. I agreed to have her fight me until I was at near death. All my injuries also began to heal much quicker. My power is on par with Psykos. It feels amazing.

I have also been killing some monsters here and there. It's kind weird. A monster killing monsters. I'd, luckily, had no run-ins with heroes since the attack. The public has stopped talking about the incident in City A.

I just finished my daily visit to Hailey, who was sleeping most of the times I've been there. She hasn't noticed my altered appearance yet, which is good. I couldn't stand her freaking out.

Psykos fired a large chunk of rubble at me. I immediately froze it and crushed it into dust instantly. My red aura had become much more defined. I had also found out that I could use my powers to increase my physical strength, speed, and defense. I just had to concentrate it on a body part.

I then bolted towards Psykos. She threw one more block of rubble at me. I concentrated my power in my fist. I pulled back and slammed it into the rock, shattering it. Psykos then tried to dodge my advance. I grabbed her ankle and threw her towards the ground. She was able to stop herself before she hit.

She then used her powers to blow dust into the air, weakening my vision. I began to listen for any sign of her. I couldn't see her blue aura in the dust. She wasn't close yet.

I then heard a 'whoosh' from behind me. A sharp rock then cut my cheek. I scowled and rocketed towards the direction the rock came from. He saw a faint light leave the area. He shot after it. I looked around to see if I could find her.

I was then pushed towards the wall and slammed into it. Psykos has her forearm jammed against my neck, pinning me against the wall. She then quickly raised a rock on her left. I then slammed my fist into her cheek. She was able, however, to slam the rock into my abdomen.

I winced and pulled it out, it left a hole and a red stain on my jacket. I felt my cheek and saw that the wound was already dry.

Psykos then shot towards me, blood dripping from her nose. I shot towards her. I then saw tons of pebbles surrounding her. She then began firing the countless pebbles at me. The pebbles crashed into the wall, causing another dust cloud to surround me. This wasn't her intention because I saw her aura, and it wasn't moving.

I then revealed myself, incased in a shield. I let out a smirk and bolted towards her. I then kneed her in the stomach. Blood spurted from her mouth as she fell to the ground. I heard a loud crash, indicating she hit the ground. A strong wind then entered the large room.

The dust soon cleared. I looked down at her. There was a whirlwind of power surrounding her. Her hair was flailing above her. Her pupils were bright blue. Blood was coming out of her nose and mouth. Her white clothes were in tatters. There were a few tears as well.

"Bring it on." I chuckled, showing my sharpened teeth. The wound on my stomach had cauterized itself. She fired countless large rocks at me. I shielded myself from the rocks, but the size and the amount caused the shield to begin to crack. I removed my shield and began to dodge the rocks and fly towards Psykos.

It would've been so much easier if I was allowed to freeze her, but that doesn't work on other espers. I was almost there when an enormous spike made of rubble jammed itself into my gut. Psykos chuckled as blood poured out of my mouth.

I flew backwards and crashed into the ground. I gasped and coughed as the spike stuck me to the ground. I used my powers and pulled it out of me. I threw it away.

I slowly rolled over and began to pushed myself up. I looked up at her. She had her hand raised. I looked up and saw the spike aimed towards me in the air. The spike then jammed itself back into me, but pinned me on my stomach. She's actually gonna kill me, I thought.

A large pool of blood surrounded my weakened body. I groaned and tried to push myself up. The pain wasn't exactly inviting. Blood dropped out of my mouth. My vision was blurry. I saw the blurry figure of Psykos walking towards me.

I growled and pushed myself up. I felt almost no pain. Blood poured out of my wound, but I couldn't care less. I stood up with the spike still in the ground. I had an enormous hole in chest... but all I did was smile at Psykos. I could barely see her, but I knew I could win.

I then caused a piece of the ground to shoot up from under Psykos and send her into the air. She shot towards me, and I shot towards her. I bulldozed through the small, sharp rocks she threw at me. I then slammed my fist into her cheek. I then threw her to the ground.

I then flew down to the ground. She was stumbling to her feet. He forehead began bleeding, and I knew that many my victory. I was bleeding from almost every part of my body. Blood almost coated my body, but I'd never felt so strong. I felt like I could go on for years in this condition.

"I think this match is over." I said in a gruffly voice. Psykos chuckled and limped towards me.

"I guess so." She said. "You're far beyond me now. You're almost there." She then began to fall. I immediately went down and grabbed with both of my arm.

"I think you need the rest now." I said.

"I have a question, though, Kazan." She said.

"And that would be?" I asked.

"Do you still have a lot in the tank?" She asked.

"Plenty." I answered.

"Good." She said.

"Before you say something..." I cut her off. "You'll need to get stronger too, y'know?" She sighed.

"I know I still have a long way to go." She said. "I'll focus on me when you're done. As I was saying, do you think you're up to fighting Orochi?" My eyes widened at the question. I hadn't seen Orochi in quite a while. He was already a formidable monster, but I can only imagine what he is now.

"Give me a minute." I answered. "I still need to heal a little hole." I nodded to the wound in my chest. She chuckled and agreed.

After about ten minutes, my wound had healed up. Leaving my bare chest, which was covered in dry blood. I had gained a lot of muscle over the past month as well. I don't know how I couldn't. Psykos had gotten a cast quickly put on her in that time. She used her powers to quicken the process.

"I think I'm ready." I said to her. She smiled at me.

"Are you sure?" She asked.

"I'll be as ready as I'll ever be." I answered, giving her a smile full of sharp teeth. "I'm prepared to make another push to becoming a monster. Psykos smiled and looked out to the room.

"Orochi!!!" She called. The ground began to rumbled. A thirty foot monster crashed though the floor.

"Is this the final form of him?" I asked.

"No." She answered. "He's about a low Dragon disaster level right now. I hope to get him as close to God as possible." I sighed and got into my fighting stance.

"This is going to be a bitch." I said. "This better be worth every hit."
