You're a Pure-Blood Slytherin in this story, and you are in 4th year during the Prologue.
When you are in 7th year, 1st years are around the age where Hogwarts Mystery begins. But I won't be including that in this story.
Also, regarding the ages of the characters in the story, for plot convenience, the reader is 18 at the beginning of the 7th year and Severus is a year younger than he would normally be during the reader's 7th year. So just imagine Severus, Lily, James, etc. were all born in 1961 and not 1960. This means the age gap is 3 years.
