-Niall's Point of View-

Was my life really this bleak before everything that's happend in the past two days? Sure as hell seems like it when I'm stuck in this cramped cubicle.

My fingers fly on the mac keyboard sitting in front of me, my eyes boring into the computer screen. So fucking monotonous. I wasn’t lying when I told Zayn I had a boring office job. Weird to think I’ve been doing this for over a year. The day usually flies by but now that I’m anticipating something, time is moving slower than a YouTube video that won’t load.

It isn't until my cellphone vibrates in my pocket that things get interesting.

Zayn: Dreamt of u last night xx

I eagerly type in a response.

Niall: What kind of dream....? ;)

His reply is instantaneous.

Zayn: A beautiful one. I miss u

My heart pounds.

Niall: Miss u too love

Zayn: Cant wait to see u and make love :)

Niall: Me neither. Im getting excited already....

Zayn: What part of me do u miss most?

Zayn's face comes to mind and I try to just pick one feature.

I need to adjust because I realize my body has reacted to Zayn's loving texts.

Silently I lift my head to make sure no one's around before loosening my tie and unbuttoning my slacks.
