Chapter Twenty Two

"Well than.. a little trouble in paradise? Lovers quarrel-" without warning Reborn attacked the blonde, yet this time around he had been prepared. He grabbed Reborns ankle as he went into a roundhouse kick, feeling the pressure build the longer he held onto his leg. He pushed him away quickly, while putting distance between them, only to find himself face first in the concrete when Reborn came from behind.

He stayed their for a few moments regaining his composure. The moment he got up he could see them heading into the house. He huffed before getting up and looking for a new way to get their attention.

Present...

"He's outside the window" Tsuna said while reading his book, giving the window a side glance. Noticing the blondes face pressed up against the window, small areas of condensation appearing on the window from his heavy breathing.

"Ignore him" came Reborns only word of advice as he read his own book. The comfortable silence encircling them, while they lost themselves into the depth of the storylines. Tsuna enjoyed those kind of nights and couldn't help but revel in them. However, he couldn't help but squirm and look at Colonello. Tsuna didn't feel guilty, no, he felt unnerved. When he released the other demon, knowingly this time, he offered him freedom, all he had to do was help him. Tsuna was confident in his skills and ability to get rid of demons, but when they overwhelmed him in numbers, numbers that never decrease, he would gladly admit he needed help. That's where Colonello came in however, the blonde never left. He continued to chase after Tsuna, even after they had left the school trip. He persistently continued to follow them home; not even Reborns constant acts of random violence towards him detoured him from making a B-line for Tsuna.

"I can't take it any more" Tsuna called, slamming his book shut as he hurriedly stood up and rushed for the door, noticing the blonde was already gone before he could move towards the door.

"What are you doing?" Reborn asked somewhat calmly as he snatched Tsuna's hands away from the door handle.

"Handling a problem. Move" Tsuna stated harshly. Sending a chill of excitement through Reborns body as he let him go. Allowing him to do as he pleased. Standing back with a watchful eye, ready to protect him at any moment.

Tsuna slipped his hand over the door handle allowing himself a slight moment of hesitation before turning the handle knowing full well that Reborn, who stood apprehensively behind him, would protect him. He allowed the door to make a clicking sound, signaling that he had fully turned the knob before pulling back on the door. Seeing a overly excited blonde with a large grin of excitement plastered to his face dumbly.

Tsuna's face never expressed a smile or any other emotion other than his displeasure with the demon before him. The smaller make let go of the door and crossed his arms. Tapping his finger on his arm as he gave a heated glare at Colonello, making sure to express his unhappiness with the other male.

"You have ten seconds to give me an explanation as to why your borderline stalking me before I let this overly eager demon behind me rip you apart. This time I won't get in the way" Tsuna could practically feel the amusement trickle off of Reborn from behind him, while the image of him smirking clearly etched its way into his mind. Knowing Reborn liked the thought of tearing the other one a new one.

"Don't be that way—" he began.

"Ten" Tsuna started the count down, reborn cracked his knuckles behind the burnet as he walked closer.

"Nine"

"Wait!! Let me explain—"

"Eight"

"Seven"
