Hush.
Don't say a word.
Just sit and watch
And listen...
Listen to the sound of my heart breaking.
Quiet or you might miss it.
Crack.
There it goes ...
Oh well...
I knew it wouldn't last long.
It's funny how fragile the human heart is.
It has endurance but only for so long.
Watch.
Watch me.
Watch me fall apart piece by piece.
There's pieces of me everywhere.
A trail of shattered body across the carpet.
Paint me black and blue then throw me away.
Set fire to my broken bones.
I'll burn this "home" to the ground.
Watch me rise from ashes as the monster I am.
Listen to the sound of my choked sobs.
Feel the ground tremble under you as I rip apart the earth where you stand.
Taste the hot ash that spills from this "home."
Smell the burning wood frame and the memories that will burn with it.
I am the sixth sense.
The bump in the night.
The shiver in your spine.
The collection of lost hope, broken hearts, and the byproduct of an abusive tongue.

Ah yes, how fitting...
