Trapped.
Not the bad trapped, the kind that makes you stare and wonder
"Where has the time gone?"
Where?
I think I lost time in her eyes.
Yeah, time must've stopped when I caught her gaze.
Where?
I think I lost time in her touch.
The way I could wrap my arms around her and she'd melt right into me.
Where?
I think I lost time back in 2012.
The warm summers where everyone was happy.
Where?
I think I lost time in my first kiss.
In reality it was short and sweet but to me it lasted a lifetime.
Where?
I think I lost time when I kneeled by my grandfather's bedside.
There were so many things to say but so little time, so I decided on "I love you."
Where?
I think I lost time as I opened up my first set of paints.
Every color smeared across the canvas and it painted a home for itself in my heart.
Where?
I think I lost time today.
When I fell to the ground exhausted and stared into the sky looking for answers.
Time is where those seconds turn to hours.
A man made concept.
I just...
I just wish...
I had...
