The next batch of results is here! And for one of our most popular genres, Poetry!

We hope you're ready for this because you sure have waited a long time for it!

Big thanks to our extremely efficient judge orphic_thoughts judging all of our 12 Round 1 finalists and picking the Top 3.

We're so excited so without wasting any time, here we go:

Third Place: 

The Rhythm of her Piano - AreebaDazzle

Score: 23.5/25

Review: The way in which she had written the words were thoughtful and expressive, she managed to stitch the words in an elegant manner. A few mistakes were sighted, but it still managed to explain the concepts. The poet expressed emotions that seemed pure. She did quite a wonderful job delivering the words. There wasn't much to correct.

Second Place:

Pointless Notions - tatteredsoul_

Score: 24/25

Review: The poet's use of words were quite stellar, very awe-inspiring. The diction used was very neatly detailed and just enough for the topic at hand. It was put together quite beautifully. The poet had a lot of creativity, it could be seen in the way the poetry conveyed thoughts. The title itself is creative.

And finally, 

First Place Winner: 

Inside. - dexipher

Score: 24.5/25

Review: The poet conveyed real emotions and feelings that are usually experienced. They beautifully infused feelings like sadness, depression, angst, happiness, etc.  He/she used many intricate words which shows that they have a high level of understanding of the concept at hand. Although the name wasn't extremely creative, it is allegoric serving its purpose. The poet uses techniques that are uncommon, fresh and out of the box. Complex yet understandable grammar was used, which shows a high level of gravitas.

Congratulations to the winners! You deserve it, and we hope your story receives more views and votes and comments each day!

To the ones who didn't make it, don't be disheartened. It was quite a close competition, and your books were still great.
