Why BakuDeku is a toxic ship (An Analysis on why it's toxic)

I honestly don't judge anyone who ships it. And I respect people's opinions on the whole matter. I'm just gonna say the whole like 'don't ship it side' community on the whole intake of the ship. Ship what ya want! It's called the beauty of shipping! Just don't attack anyone else who doesn't ship it or shove it down their throats.

Like I ship Crossmare or Gruvia but I don't shove it down In people's throats.

I can see why you ship it. I explored both sides on why you ship and why not to ship. I can understand.

Now BakuDeku is a ship of two characters known as Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo in a anime show known as My Hero Academia or Boku No Hero Academia. It's a Yaoi ship. Aka gay ship.

Now why do people think it's a toxic relationship? Why do people hate the ship and don't see it working out? Why they just don't ship it none the less?

Why people thinks it's a abusive/toxic relationship.

1. They're not compatible with each other.
Deku always freaks out and is scared around Bakugo when he goes up to him. You can see in the anime when he shakes Just by being near him. He had lost self-esteem because of him. And Bakugo always just says he's useless and lashes out on him. Deku is like doormat to him. Bakugo barely respects him at all.

2. Deku was bullied physically and mentally. The constant fights with each other. Especially shown with Bakugo with his friends in the manga. Deku was bullied. Even Bakugo told him to take a swan dive off a roof and he will have a quirk in his next life. That literally instigates suicide. Bakugo even burned his book on heroes with his quirk. And said that he can never EVER be a hero. Deku was always hurt by him. Especially that's the reason why he lost self-esteem in the first place. It even shows when they both went against All Might. Bakugo literally hit him. Not wanting to listen to him at all.

3. Fanfiction won't always cover anything
I'm aware of this. Some of you are to. Some... are not. Bakugo would seem nice. Because lots of people alter his personality. Tons of people always say, "just let us ship what we want to ship!" We get it! Alright? We don't want to say oh BAKUDEKU IS BANNED. That's not our intention. We just don't ship it. Because we break down the ship exploring it and just find it... wrong. Even though in the anime canon story. It's still going to be toxic and abusive. Nothing can change it. Not imagination of fantasy. But if people ship it? Than I'm not saying it's not okay? It's just that we don't ship it but if you do than it good with you.

4. I see their feelings to each other as old friends and such. Their relationship was taint because of Bakugo's mistreatment to Deku. He caused him suffering for years. Even if their relationship did get better. I always see them as friends who want to try again to be friends like they were in childhood.

5. It's unrealistic
I'm not saying it's cliche' but I highly doubt if I was Deku himself. That i'd fall in love with a person who bullied me for years in middle school. Hurted me mentally and physically. Told me to "take a swan dive off a roof" meaning to commit suicide. That I'd would just romantically fall high heels in love with a person who hates me so much and disrespects me and I'm afraid of that person.

6. No chemistry
Izuku and Bakugo never showned any romantic feelings to each other. They don't mix. Their only interaction relationship with each other is their childhood when they were friends, Bakugo constantly bullied him in middle school. Picked on him in doing so. Disrespects him in U.A.  I could hardly see any chemistry. They never even hang out at all. Avoid and ignore each other none the less. except when they are gonna go against each other.

7. Change in heart
If Bakugou did have a change in heart. Did accept his gesture to friendship. I could view the ship differently on my point of view. It probably would've been sweeter. Yes ship what you want. But it's still a toxic relationship. Like I said, fanfiction won't change the ship. It's still toxic and abusive in every point building in the  anime canon story.

Their relationship is probably going to change. And maybe slowly start to become friends. They're just not compatiable with each other right now.

Conclusion

That's basically why I view this ship toxic. And I don't see it working and I don't ship it. It's ok if you all ship it. It's just I very likely don't see this ship working. And this is my conclusion on analysis of why the ship is toxic. And the community is viewing it that way.

If their relationship wasn't like this in the past. Than I could very likely see this whole ship differently.

I also love how despite even though I don't ship them. They at least put effort, I can say that this ship does have artists that do put a lot of effort, same with other ships to.
