peter adjusted the collar of his shirt nervously. i noticed and smiled.

"peter." he looked at me. "they're going to love you."

peter smiled weakly. i laughed and kissed him softly.

my phone pinged as i got a message but i silenced my phone, dismissing it.

peter and i then got out of the car and walked up the driveway.

i kissed peters cheek to reassure him before knocking on the door.

about thirty seconds later the door was opened to reveal my mom.

"y/n!" i smiled as she leaned in to hug me.

"hi!" i said excitedly.

"you must be peter!" she said as we pulled away.

my dad absolutely loved peter. they talked about random things as my mom and i caught up.

"i'm afraid, your dad isn't going to give him back." my mom laughed.

"so, do you like peter?" i asked as i took a sip of my drink.

"absolutely! he's really amazing." i smiled and nodded.

"i know, i love him." i said as i looked at peter.

"and he loves you. he's said your name 18 times in the last four minutes of that conversation." she said as we looked at them.

"really?"

"yes! haven't you been listening?"

peter then turned to me and smiled. he waved before turning back to my dad.

"i guess i haven't." i said as i continued to stare at the boy who i was so incredibly in love with.

peter and i were now saying bye to my parents.

"see you later! bye! i love you!" i waved from the car.

they waved back as we drove away.

"that went really well." peter smiled.

i then remembered i hadn't checked my phone all day. i pulled it out of my pocket and saw 16 messages from mj and six missed calls and even some from ned.

"uh, peter? did something happen?" i asked as i unlocked my phone.

"not that i know of, why?" i then opened the messages from michelle.

most of them were just my name and the others were telling me to check twitter.

i then opened it and immediately saw what she was talking about.

"oh." i whispered.

"is everything okay?" peter asked.

i glanced at him but continued to read everything. i then looked a peter and laughed.

"disappointed but not surprised."
